What a beautiful little retreat.
It is tucked up on the side of the hill, so it is even away from the not exactly busy B4558/4077.
Now it always helps when its 2 extremely warm sunny days in the middle of February. The owners are extremely friendly, accomodating and willing to assist with our 2 year old.
Breakfast is a pleasantly slow and enjoyable experience with traditional / Welsh / vegetarian options etc.
If you're a city dweller like ourselves, stop for a moment outside the hotel before dashing off on your walk. Just listen to the birdlife without the drone of traffic.
If you're not convinced you are able to walk long distances or hills, never fear. The canal is 200 yards down the hill and winds along the hill with no gradient to worry about.
Meal time was splendid. For the adults their was the al a carte or the Prague menu and for the little one a choice of organic burgers / chicken or fish.
The quiet homely bar is a comfortable place to reflect on how little (or much) you're done all day and look forward to the next day of doing the same.
