Our stay at Hulakai was dreamlike - from the beautiful views overlooking the beach and jungle, to the family style dinners that had us feeling like we travelled with a group of friends.

Being at Hulakai felt like staying at a friend's place. Food and drinks were amazing and although service standards are high, everything had a relaxed vibe. The staff was warm and friendly and the volunteers really seemed to care about our experience.

We had a fantastic time! Will be back!

One of the nicest place I have been in Nicaragua!
Great food, beautiful and clean rooms, great team making you feel like home, and always happy to help.
Family dinners are just stunning, Jeremy is one of the owner and cooks some delicious meals as Filet Mignon, Stir Fry, Chicken or Veggie Curry...

Highly recomended!

Everything is epic when it comes to Hulakai. The staff, the food, the views and the Maderas area in which it's located. There is world class surf and awesome beaches a short walk down the hill. The sunsets are immaculate from the hotel. I could go on for days talking about the love I have for this place but you must see for yourself.

Awesome time here, such a beautiful resort and so affordable! Views of the beach from the pool, open and scenic layout with artful design all over. Would absolutely come back and do it all over again!

This hotel was splendid and we loved our stay there!! We would definitely come back.

The staff was friendly and super helpful. The place is just beautiful, the pool is great, and the food is simply delicious!!! Cocktails were well made and tasty as well!

The only think I would suggest is a bit of maintenance in the room! We were in a bungalow and the faucets were leaking. The safety locker was broken as well. However the bed was so comfortable and the windows all around the bungalow gave a really nice view on the jungle and the ocean. We appreciated the good quality fan too!

Finally, we really enjoyed our yoga class but the fact that the deck is on top of the restaurant makes the classes a bit noisy. It would be better to start classes earlier in the morning before breakfast is served so it's more calm and relaxing!

Overall we enjoyed our stay there and we would definitely come back. We wish we had met the owner but we met Jeremy who was adorable and super funny!

Thanks again for everything !
