“Romantic return”
Reviewed November 25, 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Mandy was exceptionally helpful, and the Grannary as beautiful and romantic as we remembered from our first visit. We will remember this visit for a long time and feel sure to return. Highly recommended as a romantic getaway, with great walks and bike rides straight out the front door.

“WOW!”
Reviewed November 5, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

This little cottage is just beautiful, its views are amazing, and having the animals to look at is just lovely. We enjoyed some fantastic meals in the area, and it was great to take the dog out to them as well, as most of them are dog friendly. The feeling of utter peace was felt as soon as we walked through the doors to the Granary, it was very quirky and snuggly. The perfect get away, and so much to do in the local area, Symonds Yat would be up high on my recommendations of places to visit it was just lovely. Thank you David and Mandy for sharing this little treasure.

“Lovely peaceful stay but close to all amenities”
Reviewed September 13, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Stayed for a couple of nights midweek and wish we could have stayed longer!
The dirt track takes some getting used to but once your at the top it's really close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely with the amazing views- will deffo return and recommend to all.

“Very relaxing”
Reviewed August 31, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Enjoyed a couple of days at this quiet, fairly remote cottage. It was very relaxing and the cottage was great for a couple of days away from it all. We love walking and it was great to be able to walk straight from the cottage straight into the forest. The owners were very pleasant and not intrusive. Our dog loved the location too. Ideal bolt hole for those who want an away from it all few days. Pity it was so wet while we were there, I imagine in dryer weather it would be even better.

Liked best: The balcony and the quiet.
Liked least: It was wet during our stay so the property was a bit like a 'laundery as we had to dry out boots and coats.

“Wonderful experience in the country side”
Reviewed August 8, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

This place is a real gem. Quiet place at the England/Wales border with a memorable terrace with a endless view over the hills with astonishing sunsets. Romantic sleeping under the roof. Bubble bath and a typical cottage interior with everything you need. Hosts Mandy and David are nice people and helping you with everything. We enjoyed it very very much.
