“Wonderful,just a perfect little hideaway”
Reviewed January 24, 2018 for a stay in January 2018

This is our 3rd stay at Nuthatch but each time feels like the first, the cottage is spotless from top to bottom with everything you need for a perfect stay, welcome milk and biscuits was nice as we were desperate for a cuppa on arrival,,the log burner just perfect,,the beds are very comfortable and listening to the owl on a night while laid in bed is just great,, the wildlife, I can’t say enough I’ve spent hours just watching the bluetits, wagtails, robins and even a woodpecker today which pleaded my husband all feeding,,
Can’t wait to book again, going home feeling very refreshed,
Thankyou Vickie and Tim

Angela,
Thankyou so much for taking the time to review Nuthatch Cottage. We really appreciate your kind words about the cleanliness, the beds and the cottage in general.
The owls have been particularly active during the evenings lately and they are wonderful to listen to. We really are getting a lot of wildlife paying a visit to the cottage garden and will continue to encourage more with our feeding, planting and nest boxes.
Regards

This was my 2nd stay here , that for me in itself is a 1st! . Why , it’s in a stunning location , so peaceful , wake to birds & beautiful countryside . If you don’t want to venture far , there are walks on doorstep. The cottage is excellent , bed is so comfortable, wood burner is an added bonus & furnishings done to a very high standard , with all you will need. Vicki & Tim are so very helpful should you need anything. Will definitely return.

“Wow!!!! Amazingly beautiful.”
Reviewed October 13, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Nuthatch Cottage, booked as part of our Grandaughter's 21st birthday present. Our party consisted of a 'mature' couple plus our Grandaughter and boyfriend.
To have either a stunning view or a beautiful cottage would have been great but to have both in one package was amazing. The cottage is finished to an incredibly high standard both inside and out, it's warm and cosy and well equipped. The log burner threw out such incredible heat on our first night that we lit it 2 hours later on the second! If we stay in the area again Nuthatch Cottage will definitely be our first choice.
There is so much beautiful scenery in the area but a visit to Symonds Yat Rock which was about 20 mins away was the highlight for me. The views down the Wye Valley were breathtaking.
