We literally have no complaints or criticisms at all. It's a beautiful little cottage, very clean, tidy and kitted out with lots of essential items that you would need on a holiday the host had supplied.
The location is quiet, all we could hear were birds. The views from the side of the cottage are spectacular.
The host Karen did not miss out on any detail, she thought of everything to provide a relaxing and pleasant stay.
The communication from start to finish was great too. Any questions or concerns are swiftly dealt with. Karen was also very warm and hospitable.
Thanks again Karen.

Arrived with a heavy cold and flu and left feeling fully restored, rested and relaxed. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. Would love to return.
Wren cottage is set in a beautiful and secluded location. The nearest road is just within hearing distance, but is not well used. You can go hours without hearing another human soul. Inside, the cottage is well set up, with a modern kitchen, and comfy sitting room. The Bedroom and bathroom are simple, but functional. Thought we didn't bring a pet, the cottage is obviously set up well for dogs, with everything you could need to hand.
The cottage is well placed for visiting the forest of Dean and the surrounding areas, with the edge of Wales less than an hour away, and beautiful walks right from the door step.
Karen, the owner, was friendly and welcoming, with good advice about the area and places to visit.
Wren cottage is a simple, yet beautiful place to escape for a few days.
Beautiful and stunning location, Stayed at Wren Cottage for two weeks Karen and Liz could not help you enough. Everything had been thought of and the romantic package was brilliant lovely people and lovey Place look forward to going again:
The cottage exceeded expectation. Location and views are as good as website photos suggested. Often not the case with holiday cottages.
We were very comfortable and relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our week. Those who like the luxury of space would do better in the adjoining cottage. Had the weather been warmer and drier we'd have opened the French doors to the garden.
Good amenities and extra little kind touches.
as we were familiar with the other side of the valley, on arrival we found the location of the cottage to be stunning and knew immediately that the accommodation would fulfill our expectations and it certainly did. The inside was snug even without using the woodburner and the amenities well presented plus a lot of thought had gone into making this a perfect hideaway. Charlie, our Jack Russell at 12 year old thought the area a doggy paradise and was up for walks at any time of day.The garden bench was well used for morning coffee and just taking in the view. We hope to make a return visit before winter sets in and look forward to returning.
