“Fantastic!”
Reviewed March 27, 2013 via mobile

We had a wunderful breakfast at Lluvia! The food was excellent, the coffee delicious, the people very kind, everything was perfect!
Don't forget to buy some sandwich, take them with you on your hike in El Yunque.
A "must" on your journey to El Yunque!

“MUST GO!!”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

This restaurant was a perfect escape! It made you feel like you are in NYC. We stopped here on our back from El Yunque, but I recommend going before and getting a few sandwiches to go for a hike! The staff was very attentive and accommodating, and everything that could be baked was baked on site. It is a family owned and operated restaurant, and they are doing a fabulous job! The menu is nice and light, with boars head meat available (which reminds me of home), and homemade pastries. It is a great place to stop in! Be sure to get a smoothie!

“A hidden gem!!”
Reviewed March 18, 2013 via mobile

We stumbled upon this cafe on our way back from El Yunque rainforest. A very modern cafe with a nice light menu. A nice break from heavy food. The Greek salad pocket hit the spot as well as the fresh cut turkey sandwich. The staff was so friendly and the owners are originally from NYC! Don't miss out on having breakfast or lunch here. You won't be disappointed!

“Your go to picnic for taking up to El Yunque”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We stumbled upon LLuvia on our way to El Yunque. We knew we wanted a picnic to take up in the rainforest. Little did we know that a cool, modern, and friendly deli would be located just a couple miles from park's entrance (El Portal) in the village of Palmer. While the vibe of the joint would not feel out of place in Brookland or Portland -- it maintains a distinctive modern and tropical vibe.

Perhaps it was the altitude of El Yunque, but their Egg Salad was the best ever! And, the cookies weren't bad either. Thanks guys for a great lunch!
