We visit nearby Les Gets for skiing on an annual basis and no trip is complete without a visit to L'Etale.
L'Etale is a busy and lively restaurant whenever you visit with very brisk and efficient service. The staff are helpful and attentive without being overbearing.
The menu is large, which is often a bad sign, but we have yet to have a bad meal here. The salads are fresh, delicious and plentiful. Our other favourite dishes are the ribs, the chicken Morzinese and the hot stone. The latter comes with unlimited meat, salad and fries and will satisfy even the largest of appetites!!
We rarely have space for dessert but the Cafe Gourmand is highly recommended.

Went here last week with my family including Grandchildren aged 8 & 5 they were delighted to find "Bambino Pizzas" on the menu with a choice of toppings. Nuggets & chips are usually on the children's menu so this was a refreshing change. They were a good size & quality equal to those on the regular.
The adults chose local cheese dishes which were delicious, & all our meals arrived at the same time although the children could have had there's first whilst we enjoyed an apero.

TIP. If you plan to go on a WEDNESDAY in the season make sure you book well in advance as it's the Chalet Staffs night off. !!!!!!!

Great meal, great service in a busy restaurant. The Onion soup was excellent, and the main courses were enjoyed. The meals arrived in a timely manner, and the staff were very attentive.

Not the cheapest supper in Morzine, but will be high on my list for future visits.
