“The very best of Morzine!”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Me and my fiance have just returned from the the slushy social week and it was amazing! We spent the week in chalet Robin where Sophe and Phill took great care of us all!

Breakfast of eggs, bacon, fresh bread, cereals, fruit and pancakes one morning! That was a nice surprise! Phill gave everyone a lift to the cablecar every morning and picked peope up too! (You can get a free bus around the area)

Comfy beds, bathrooms perfect, lounge area great for chilling after a fun day on the slopes and If you want to kick back and relax a bit ore you can jump in the hot tub, which was great!

Dinner was great every night, 3 course meal, always making sure you had oom to fit your dessert in! Chalet was kept spotless and the beer, wine and soft drinks were always flowing at meal times!

Transfers to and from airport were both on time with no hassle.

Close to the bus stop and only 2 min walk into Morzine itself. Cannot express anymore how great the holiday was, 5 star well deserved. We will back again next year for sure!

Just come back from a brilliant week being looked after by Chalet Hosts Sophie and Phill. Chalet Robin was perfect for us- 2 families travelling with kids (although it's the kind of house that would suit just about any group or combination). The chalet is in a very good location- right by the bus stop or an easy 5-10 minute walk into town. It is set up with bedrooms on all levels and plenty of space to mix together or escape should you need to. The kids had first shift for dinner each evening and then went upstairs for a movie or a game on the wii while we could stay downstairs and eat our meal at a slower pace. The food was lovely and every day was very different. There was not a single meal that I didn't love and the kids felt the same.
This was our first time staying in a catered chalet and I am very glad I did. I would never go skiing any other way now. Chalet Robin was wonderful- spacious and classy but with a cosy and warm atmosphere. A very big thanks to Phill and Sophie for being such lovely hosts for the week!

Room Tip: Bedrooms vary- most have showers/sinks inside and the toilet just outside the door. One bedroom has...

We had a fantastic holiday due to;
The very helpful Rick in the booking office, the hassle free transfers, the clean and comfortable accomodation, the delicious food and the helpfulness and hospitality of our lovely hosts Phill and Sophie. Would definitely come back to this Chalet again to have another Moremountain Experience.

Spent the week before Easter in Chalet robin and were royally looked after by Sophie and Phil. Nothing was too much trouble and Phill even loaded the skis himself in the van!
Sophie's cooking was excellent and they both were superbly organised to the cleaning and cooking.
Thoroughly recommend both the chalet and Sophie and Phill

Room Tip: Choose the downstairs room, it is away from the rest of the chalet activity

The whole week long skiing experience was excellent. From the pick up and transfer to and from the chalet, the accomodation and most importantly the food, service and welcoming & tremendous atmosphere created by the hosts Sophie and Phil. We were two families with pre-teenage kids and everything was smooth sailing and hassle free (except for my wife having a ski injury on our second last day and then our hosts and more mountain were great in providing any assistance needed). The Chalet was clean and comfortable and well appointed for both children and adults. The food cooked by Sophie was well planned, delicious and quantiful. Phil was happy to assit in any way he could and make the après ski experience a memorable one with a variety of drinks supplied in a cheerful manner. The spa was a great way to wind down for an hour after skiing. I would recommend this experience to anyone wanting a great skiing holiday.

We had two families stay at Chalet Robin. Chalet Robin is a great place to stay. It is clean, spacious, comfortable and in a great location. Phil and Sophie, our More Mountain hosts, were very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that both the kids and adults were well catered for. The breakfast and evening meals were superb. Sophie somehow delivers such high standard meals whilst maintaining a flexible schedule. Phil, although hampered by a self-inflicted shoulder injury, also delivered a top class drinks service. More than this, Phil and Sophie were themselves great company, which added to the enjoyment of the holiday. Oh, I should also point out that Morzine is a great ski resort.

We made the decision to marry in March simply for the reason of returning to skiing. We hosted a chalet in the Morzine area when we first got together so it seemed natural to return as a newly married couple. We had not skied since our season because it's not the cheapest of holidays, so we wanted to ensure that our honeymoon had all the luxuries we were hoping for whilst still not breaking the (rather shallow) bank.

We shortlisted all the chalets in the Morzine area using the scientific combination of ridiculous requests (bath robes, lots of cheese, fancy toiletries etc) and the reviews on Trip Advisor, and concluded Chalet Robin to be the best. Initially the chalet was fully booked, but a cancellation got us in with a fabulous room boasting a private bath and balcony.

Sophie and Phill could not have done enough for us. The food was lovely, there was always more than enough, we thoroughly enjoyed wine o'clock and the apres ski. Everything was very relaxed and accommodating. We made full use of the walkie talkies which are an excellent addition and would highly recommend for all future travellers who find themselves inexplicably without phone signal. This allowed flexibility for pick up times, very much appreciated.

We knew we would be sharing our week with other guests and Chalet Robin attracts an excellent bunch. It was lovely to meet easy going and like minded people and we knew from the trip advisor reviews that we would not be disappointed with the people we met.

As former chalet hosts it would have been easy to pick holes in a new chalet experience, but we simply could not. We had a lovely, easy going week, with wonderful personal touches that made our honeymoon one to remember (thanks for the bubbly!). We were sad to leave... but the second week in Egypt made it all the more bearable (Xperience Sea Breeze, another excellent hotel). A fantastic trip and one to recommend to anyone, newly wed or not.

Room Tip: Private bath, private balcony, lovely room and bathroom... Only the best will do and it worked a tre...
