Established a few miles outside of Morzine, Chalet Chambertin is situated a quiet, peaceful location. With a warm and friendly reception. the outstanding chalet staff do everything possible to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. As well as being extremely professional, their attention to detail is highly impressive. Indeed, we found that nothing was too much trouble for them. Our group took over the chalet for the week and with 7 en-suite bedrooms (lots may need to be drawn as sizes do vary) and with separate rooms for dining, sitting out and watching TV we were very well catered for; the private hot tub and sauna were added luxuries. The honesty bar is a welcome service at the end of the day and the free wine served with dinner more than acceptable. The location is not an issue with a flexible daily service to and from the ski slopes being provided by the chalet mini bus, as well as a free local bus service stopping right outside the chalet. For those who require it, equipment hire is arranged in advance and is all organised at the chalet on arrival. In summary an excellent value for money holiday.

We have just returned from yet another sucessful ski trip to Chalet Chambertain! This time we were just a family of 4 taking no body else with us...... it was a gamble that paid off. The other families were delightful it was as if it had been engineered! Kids similar ages, a perfect combo. The highlight of my trip has to be Mel the chalet host offering me the drink of my choice whilst in the hot tub, thats service! Your every need is catered for, a quick call from the slopes and the minibus is there to welcome you as soon as you step off the lift/piste.! Nothing is too much trouble. 5 star luxury, in a quiet picturesque location. Perfect for everyone who wants the perfect ski trip. Think we will try the summer their too.....!

We found this chalet through Tripadvisor and were impressed by the reviews. We can only agree with all that has been said before. We were extra lucky though as the only residents for an early season break. So we had a chef Tanel, chalet host Mel and driver Dom all to ourselves!
Food was terrific, similar to a high quality restaurant, Mel kept the chalet and room in great shape and brought us coffee to the room in the morning. Dom collected us from Geneva and shuttled us to and fro the slopes daily. Small touches like having the skis loaded and the minibus warmed up in morning were appreciated. We had a large room with balcony to look out over the two feet of snow that fell the night we arrived and then watch Dom clear the driveway the morning after and safely drive us to the lifts.

We had choice of hot-tub, sauna and tv room to relax in and enjoy the house wine that was very palatable. We met Ollie and Emma who are clearly keen to keep up and improve their standard.
It's a bit out of town but that's pretty much irrelevant with the minibus service provided.

Hard to imagine that we could we be better looked after. Would not hesitate to recommend this chalet or indeed stay here again ourselves

My boyfriend and I stayed in Chalet Chambertin in August to enjoy the famous Morzine mountain biking. We went with pretty high expectations considering the glowing reviews on tripadvisor but we were still blown away when we got there. We were given a beautiful big room with a ridiculously large and comfortable bed! We also had a nice shower/bath room with a monsoon shower and L'Occitane toiletries. The chalet has a nice communal living area, a smaller television room with playstation, dining area and and outdoors jacuzzi. The food was excellent, good restaurant standard. We had 3 courses which were always lovely and Olly would always work with any dietary requirements. Most importantly, Emma and Olly are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble! Morzine was also a great place to go in summer, especially for mountain biking. The bike parks were busy but the XC tracks were pretty quiet and brilliant fun. There's also lots of walking to do and we enjoyed going white water rafting nearby. Overall, couldn't recommend it more!

I can only echo all the other positive reviews on Tripadvisor about Chalet Chambertin and especially those left by hardtopleasechesire.
My husband, 3 year old son and I stayed at Chalet Chambertin on our first ever ski holiday and were nervous about everything as it was all so new to us. However Emma and Olly were great with communication when we booked our trip and provided us with so much useful information, especially about various ski schools for both adults and children. They also offered to buy our ski passes for us in advance and put us in touch with doorstepskis who came and fitted our skis, etc at the chalet on the evening we arrived. This is particularly useful if you are arriving on Sunday afternoon and want to be out skiing on Monday morning.
The chalet hosts Rosie, Mini-Olly and Ryan were all incredibly friendly and Ryan's food was to die for. They were also great at dealing with our son and accomodated his earlier meal times (and loud play) wonderfully.
As a family with a young child, we particularly liked the fact that the chalet has a second TV room/playroom downstairs filled with toys and videos to suit all ages from birth upwards. That meant that our son could play downstairs quite happily and while those who wanted quite could sit in the upstairs lounge or the hot tub.
Although the chalet is situated outside Morzine, we found this a bonus because it was incredibly quite and peaceful. Getting about wasn't a problem with Min-Olly providing lifts in the morning and evenings or by using the local free bus that stops right outside the chalet.
With regards to ski schools, we put our son into the Piou Piou club run by the ESF ski school while we did their beginner Adult classes. The Piou Piou club is situated at the bottom of the Pleney lifts in Morzine (very convenient) and is a mixture between nursery school and beginner ski school. Although I don't think he actually learnt very much proper skiing at the club, he did enjoy it every day and came out happy, tired and well fed; which is what we wanted. We will probably move him on to proper ski lessons next year when he is a bit bigger and he can then join us skiing.
Both of the other groups of people staying a the chalet at the same time as us had stayed there before (as we will be doing again in future), which is a great indication of how well run and enjoyable the chalet is.
Overall we had an amazing holiday and would really like to thank everyone at Chalet Chambertin for making our first ski experience such a positive one.

This is the third time we have stayed with Mountain Mavericks but this is our first time at their flagship chalet Chambertin. There were 15 of us in our group - six adults and nine children aged 10 to 16. As usual the Mavericks catered for our every need and Ryan's food was stunning yet again. Rosie, a new addition to the Mavericks team was superb with the adults and children alike. Mini-Olly was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Our requests for lifts were greeted cheerily and our collection times from town were prompt.
Having stayed in other chalets, you realise that it's not what Mountain Mavericks necessarily do because that is easy to miss - it is what they do over and above other chalets. For example, our skis were loaded and unloaded from the minibus for us, the cups of tea and coffee that were delivered with the pre-arranged wake-up call, the free flowing wine at dinner time and the cooked breakfast every morning (except Wednesdays which is the chalet staff's well-deserved day off). Our lift passes were purchased for us and waiting at the chalet and the ski hire company www.doorstepskis.com were arranged to come to the chalet which believe me is a great idea.
On previous visits (without kids!) we have ventured into town after dinner and the new service of a having a driver until 1.30am is very much welcomed. We only found the need to go into town once which was to have dinner at L'Auberge (reasonably priced and reasonable food) on the Wednesday evening. Big Olly collected us - he took the kids first whilst the adults had 'one for the road' at a nearby bar and then came back 15 mins later to collect us.
As we were there at the busiest time of the year (Feb half term) the cable cars and bubbles up the mountain were busy. This wasn't a problem as Mini-Olly quite happily took us to the first cable car at Nyon but if that was busy then on to Pleney it was.
The kids were in the hot tub every night which they loved and was quite big enough to hold all who wanted a dip.
The chalet is ideally suited for families as it has a downstairs playroom with a large flatscreen TV and plenty of DVD choice not to mention the Xbox and other games. On the first floor are the bedrooms and the lounge area which is well set out with leather sofas and a fire.
We found that we stayed in the dining room after dinner to try and limit the noise from the first floor lounge area to the bedrooms - but afterall, the booze was in the dining room so what possible reason was there to move?
We recommended Mountain Mavericks to our friends who were with us on our trip. Usually I am quite nervous about making such recommendations but I knew Mountain Mavericks would surpass all of our expectations. And they did........again. Emma and Big Olly - thanks again guys, a wonderful holiday which can only reflect the amount of time and effort you put in. Ryan - a truly gifted chef and an amazing guy, a good friend. Rosie - hope to see you next year, you are indeed a Maverick! Mini-Olly - quality bloke but get your hair cut! Cheers guys!

I would have no problem in recommending MM to anyone. The team really do make you feel welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble. Thanks especially to Ryan, the food was outstanding, certainly better than I’ve had on any other chalet experience. Many thanks to all of the Mountain Mavericks team.
