Chalet Fourmiliere
Ranked #13 of 49 Morzine B&B and Inns

We've just come back to Australia from our stay at Chalet Fourmiliere. A fantastic experience! Morzine is a beautiful town and there are so many skiing options to choose from whether Morzine/ Les Gets, Avoriaz or the Haute Savoie Swiss resorts. The attention to detail, overall quality and service at Chalet Fourmiliere was excellent. Great food, a really well layed out chalet with plenty of room for our 3 families and most of all, the willingness of all the staff to help out in any way they could (including providing lifts in and out of town, dropping us off and picking us up at ski lifts etc etc). Our kids also loved the hot tub. I would highly recommend Chalet Fourmiliere!

My sixth visit to Chalet Fourmiliere and each time it is a wonderful ski holiday, yet there are still slopes, bars and restaurants for me to discover! Door to door transfers to and from the airport and to the ski slopes. Boots and skis delivered and fitted at the chalet. (Special boot warmers in the boot room is an excellent addition) Wonderful meals cooked and served by Howard, Georgie and Katlyn, who make sure your glass is always full! Excellent living areas, games room, bedrooms and bathrooms. All are warm, comfortable and welcoming. My holidays have been with family, friends and on my own. I have always met new and interesting guests. It is in the detail and organisation that Beth and Nicholas score highly. Long may it continue!

Room Tip: Rooms 2, 3 and 6. Spacious.

Fabulous chalet with the best of the best home comforts, amazing hosts, outstanding service and incredible attention to detail. Quite simply the best winter holiday ever!

Thanks again to Nick, Beth, Georgie, Katelyn and Howard. I can't imagine returning to Morzine and not staying at Chalet Fourmiliere. See you next time.

Absolutely marvellous ski-holiday in Chalet Fourmiliere. The Chalet was beyond expectations, not to mention friendly hosting of Nick, Katelyn and Georgie and true gourmet-dinners prepared by Howard. Great people and good spirit. The interior was truly stylish and cosy at the same time. We were lifted and picked-up to and from cabin-stations as we wished. De facto, after returning to the Chalet we did not wish to go anywhere else. The big fireplace with sofas, TV area, hot tub, pool room and dining hall and bar were all you needed. Children were provided even with their own bathrobes. As the other reviewers already mention, even the smallest details were carefully considered. We definetly want to come back. Of course the ski-area itself deserves credits. Variable slopes in good conditions every day, sun shining. A vacation cannot get any better from this experience, can it? Our best wishes to the Chalet and all its guests.

The attention to detail is impressive. The quality of accommodation, the food (Howard deserves a Michelin star), and the overall service is first class. Getting the ski passes and any necessary ski equipment delivered to the chalet takes a lot of stress out of the first day and the piste transfers mean that you never have to carry your skis more than 20 meters to the lift. Enjoy

Super chalet experience from arrival to departure, nothing was too much trouble and only smiles from Katlyn & Georgie. The other reviews say it all. My advice would be to stop reading the reviews and book Chalet Fourmilere safe in the knowledge you will staying at the best chalet in arguably the best and most accessible ski resort in Europe.

Put skiing to one side for a moment, I have to mention the first night as we enjoyed an exceptional eight course Asian banquet which my party agreed was well up with five star standards. Interesting, flavoursome and beautifully presented, well served and paced, Howard is a Chef going places! The wine and bar offering is extensive to complement the superb food. The hot or cold breakfast is excellent with a vast range of tea and coffee. Nick and Beth the owners obviously know their stuff and I would recommend a stay based on food alone.
Along with their assistants Kaitlin and Georgie, they are a friendly, welcoming and attentive team and nothing was too much trouble including rides to and from town.
The bedrooms are wonderfully comfortable, warm and luxurious. The Guest areas are superbly furnished and equipped, a huge fireplace makes for a cosy evening with your party. There is a games and pool room and an outdoor hot tub. Nick’s partner Beth, who I understand designed the interiors, has an eye for detail and luxury which is truly outstanding. There is a real wow factor as you enter and I have to mention the heated boot room with a range of warming rods to dry each boot - real detail.
On the ski front, it’s all made very easy, passes and equipment hire can be pre-arranged and dealt with at the Chalet when you arrive so no queuing or time wasted in town. Nick has extensive knowledge of the area and can recommend suitable locations for all standards.
Nick and Beth have clearly forged close relationships with local businesses and services including private tuition ensuring we received a well rounded top notch experience wherever we went.
It seems that nothing has been left to chance and I can thoroughly recommend this Chalet and will definitely return.
