Chalet Fiona has everything and more you look for in a luxury ski chalet. The accommodation is in the most beautiful setting, it is super comfortable, stylish and really cosy after a long day on the slopes. Fiona, Peter and George and Doogy PomPom (the pooch) make everyone feel welcome the from the moment you arrive, with no request being too big or too small. The food and wine is absolutely delicious and I would thoroughly recommend this holiday for anyone whether your looking for a family getaway, a group of friends or a romantic retreat, they really do cater for all. Such a fantastic place, I want to go back time and time again.

This was our first trip and lessons at the dry ski-slope couldn't prepare us for the real thing. It snowed in the few days before we arrived and for the four days we were there it was sun every day. George picked us up in the Chalet Fiona bus and he's a really good guy and told us all we needed to know. Peter and Fiona couldn't have been more friendly and the accommodation is first class. Peter helped us with the lift-passes and he and George came up Pleney to show us where to go - we were fetched and carried to the slopes every day. Food excellent, as other reviews reflect, and gin and tonic in the hot-tub was a real treat. Some of you might read this and think it's all too good to be true but I can't recommend the place highly enough. Chalet Fiona really was a home from home and we went with friends and made friends too - see you soon Rich and Janice. Peter and Fiona we'd love to come back and we will do soon I'm sure...

This is hospitality at its very best!
Our hosts Fiona and Peter have got it so right. We were collected from Geneva by the wonderful George and transported swiftly to our beautiful chocolate box chalet in the snow where Peter had some delicious homemade soup waiting for us on our arrival.Whilst we were eating our skis were fitted out and we were soon good to go.We were whisked to Mont Chery by our fantastic ski guide Ed(never needed to look at a piste map once!)and after being led astray to sme local bars we were welcomed back at the chalet by a roaring fire ,hot chocolate and one of Peter's freshly baked cakes.....mmm!Then to the relaxation of the hot tub where G+Ts were the order of the day delivered to us by our hosts. This is where we met up with our 4 lovely chalet buddies from darn sarf and de-briefed on the days ski antics, thanks you guys we had a real laugh with you hope to see you in Devon this summer x
Now to the food, what can I say? We were in food heaven! The best food we've ever tasted and beautifully presented.Peter is passionate about cooking and it shows ,all washed down by the most exquisite wines (beware of the bottomless glasses !!) and it is hilarious how little Dougal the dog has his own inbuilt cheese radar and each night knows exactly when the board is coming out even from a different room!
And so to bed.....our room was sumptuous with a sleigh bed soooo huge that you neede a step ladder to climb onto it.A fabulous breakfast cooked to order enticed us out of bed with warm croissants, even the marmalade and jams were homemade......delicious! This really sets you up for a full day of skiing.
One day Fiona and Ed came skiing with us and took us to an amazing restaurant called Ba Beths - what a find !
As you may have guessed by now we love this place and cannot recommend it highly enough.Fiona ,Peter,Ed and George cannot do enough for you and we feel we have known them forever. We had fantastic weather and powder conditions just to add to the whole experience. If you are looking for a holiday of pure indulgence, with fabulous people then look no further. Thanks guys we had a really had a blast and will be booking again for next year.
P.s hold that break dance for next time Peter x

From start to finish felt like we were in a dream. This was our first ski trip and I must have emailed Fiona about 10 times about various things and she was always quick to respond and offer assistance. George, chalet boy collected us from Geneva and soon had us deposited in the warmth of chalet fiona. Was immediately met with hot drinks and lunch, very much needed after a 3am start! Then our ski equipment arrived to the chalet and before we knew it peter was wisking us to the slopes. He organised our lift passes and got us on the lift, we wouldn't have had a clue. He stayed with us until we went off for our lessons.
After being collected by George later it was back to the chalet and it just got better with hot drinks and delicious cake- must get recipe for coconut cake. Then off to hot tub where 6 G&T's were soon delivered.
Amazing canapes and food cannot explain how good. The hospitality was also first class, felt like we had known them for ages. Peter, Fiona and George always joined us at the cheese course for games or dancing and peters dancing is not to be missed!! We also met some great people - Thanks for a great time Janice and Peter, hope to see you in the summer.
You will not get better than chalet Fiona and Peter and Fiona have got the recipe spot on! do not change a thing, hope to be back.

Room Tip: They are all gorgeous, but they do have a family suite

Wonderful hosts, awesome vegetarian food, never boring. As hosts, never over-bearing. Favourite thing: our hosts lifted the lid off and bought drinks to us in the hot tub, it's the little touches! Drop off to and from the slopes great, nothing was too much trouble. Chalet is spacious, and the drinks flow freely. New year they threw us a great banquet and we danced into the early hours.

A big thank you to Fiona and Peter for their wonderful hospitality at Chalet Fiona while we were visiting family in the area. Nothing was too much trouble, the accommodation is luxurious while retaining an 'at home' feel. We dined with family so didn't get the opportunity to sample Peter's food this time, but I can only imagine it would be as wonderful as the chalet is.
A word about activities - while this area is well known for skiing, it is also fantastic for hill walking and biking. Do consider a visit in October, the weather is usually perfect for walking, the trails are well marked and easy to follow with walks to suit all abilities.
