Just returned from my first visit to the French Alps and my weeks stay at Chilly Powder for my daughters wedding and I was not disappointed.
The location is amazing, and the staff so attentive with nothing being too much trouble for them. They arranged all the transport to Lake Montriond where the marriage took place, arranged all the guests seating and provided Pimms & Canapes immediately after the ceremony and with a wonderful wedding breakfast to follow back at Chilly, A truly wonderful place for a Summer wedding and with plenty to do in Morzine for all ages. My room was lovely and clean and the bed so comfortable. It's a perfect place for families to as many of the rooms are family rooms. I just want to thank Paul & Francesca, all the staff, especially Nick the manager who dealt with all arrangements and the emails from my daughter and for Ritchie who made the nights in the bar very entertaining. Everyone at Chilly Powder helped make my daughters wedding day so special and I couldn't think of a better place for a couple to get married. No doubt many of us will be back for a visit at sometime in the near future.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor facing towards Morzine have the most amazing views.

We stayed at Chilly Powder in early July for a family wedding - what can we say - fabulous !! - Accommodation was first class - we had Toy Room - our 14 year old son shared and had his own area in a mezzanine floor above us. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing - definitely up there with the likes of Gleneagles and Chewton Glen in terms of service - a "real" family hotel

We had dinner included each night - Great value overall and the food was first class too - as you can tell we are really struggling to find anything to criticise - even down to Eddie one of the staff who gave us a dance show at the wedding party.

The local scenery is stunning with plenty to do for all ages - we will certainly be back before too long !

Thanks to all at Chilly Powder

Room Tip: This is difficult and depends on whether you have children - Most rooms accommodate children in a sp...

We have just returned from a week in Chilly Powder, and i can honestly say that it was the best place we have stayed in for a very long time.
The staff are absolutely incredible, nothing is too much trouble, the food is of such a high standard it would not be out of place in a Michelin star restaurant.
Lovely rooms, all different from the next and really comfortable.
Great facilities and the hot tub!!!!
I really could not find one thing i would want to change. Fabulous!!!
Go there you wont be disappointed,

Room Tip: All the rooms are very good

I have been visiting Morzine for nearly 30 years and this is up there at the top in terms of experience.
There were 3 couples and while this is very much a family chalet the way it is run means there is no problem between adults only and families (no kids at dinner).
Rooms were a little tight but comfy beds, very clean, good food and friendly helpful staff.
Prodain base is great for quick morning access to Avoriaz and ski back. Use the bus right outside the door for Apres or skiing in Morzine - no problem (Avoriaz still lacking on the Apres front!)

I stayed here for a three day long weekend - for snowboarding in Avoriaz.

My checkin was swift and staff were very helpful showing me around. I arrived just in time to join the others for dinner, once again staff made me feel very very welcome. Food was of good quality and variety over the evenings. Wine is of a ok standard, and the barman is always close by topping it up for you.

I stayed in the Oriental room, the room was comfortable with everything you might need although the toiletries are only there day one (no tops ups); which was kind of a surprise considering the price.

The chalet is mainly focused on customers that are family with children, so if you are travelling alone and/or no children this is probably not the place for you. Also if you snowboard, they had an excellent session on tips for skiiers, but nothing for snowboarders.

They do have an adult only lounge area - which is set out lovely with big comfy leather couches. It is a nice area, but very noisy if kids are downstairs.

If you do stay, and do not have children - avoid breakfast time because you will not be able to locate a clean seat, then when you do get there at around 8.30 you will struggle to find utensils, coffee or much left of anything.

Location is excellent.

Very nice welcome and treated like a family, great staff who knows you by name, very relaxed atmosphere. Great skiing, lots of runs, not to busy which helps when skiing with young children. Will look at coming back in the future! Thank you

Room Tip: look at the room size and layout on the chalet website to get the idea.

We had a fantastic week at Chilly Powder. Staying in their three bedroom chalet next to the main hotel.
8 month old niece and two year old nephew were very well looked after in the creche, while the big kids skied.
Easy access to the lifts to maximise ski time, sleds for the kids in the back yard and a great hot tub to ease the aches and pains from the day.
Food at dinner was excellent - thanks Curtis!
Chat, hospitality and breakfasts kept everyone happy - thanks Quill.
