“Another stunna from the Mavericks”

We have stayed with Mountain Mavericks before, but not at this chalet. As with their other chalet, the accommodation is first class. The chalet is based over three levels - with bedrooms and space for dirty boots at the bottom, more bedrooms and the dining / lounge and kitchen on the first floor and a further bedroom and a further lounge with TV etc.

It is a comfortable chalet and the first floor is nice and open plan, giving a good vibe as you sit and have a beer before dinner .......... you can watch the chef do his stuff if you so wish.

Food was absolutely superb (the chef is returning for 09/10 I understand). Chalet host and chef were first class with no reasonable request (and the odd, verging on the unreasonable) too much trouble.

The Mavericks know their stuff having worked, lived and played around the Morzine area for a long time now, so they know their stuff. Guiding is provided and is top notch so take advantage of it.

My one reservation .......... and it is minor .......... is that if you have kids as we do and you are up on the top floor next to the TV room, it can get a little noisy up there if you're an early to bed type. I would emphasis that we had no problems with this as the other people staying in the chalet also had children so it worked well.

Overall: Top quality. But, please don't go there as you may fill it up before we get a chance to book back in there.

What can I say..... Chalet Prele was amazing. Ryan and Glenda were fantastic. Ryan's food was the best chalet food we have ever had and Glenda was the perfect host.
We were so lucky with the snow and had a great day out riding with Olly.
The chalet as well just had everything you could possibly want. Beautifully decorated, spacious rooms, great entertainment system (although Callum's entertainment was a bonus!) and the hot tub - we loved it.
We would definitely recommend Mountain Mavericks to everyone - they are the best!!

The first time for us in Le Prele, but not the first (or last) with Mountain Mavericks. Le Prele is beautifully finished in natural wood with modern bits where you want them most (bathrooms, heating and kitchen!). It's also within a reasonable walk to town and a couple of hundred yards from the regular buses into town and to the Prodains lift.

The welcome was everything we have experienced before with Mavericks. Glenda and Ryan are brilliant: the food was as good as we've paid serious money for back in London and they looked after us wonderfully. From tea in bed in the morning to joining in building a kicker in the garden at 11 o'clock in the evening nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they always seemed to be enjoying having us as much as we enjoyed being there.

The pros and cons of Morzine have been much discussed, we love it there and if you do too this Chalet and the company are well worth a look.

What can I say?! Olly, Emma, Glanda, Ryan; you’ve given us such an amazing time. We stayed at Le Prele last year and had a great time yet the Mountain Mavericks team have managed to top out expectations once again!
From the moment we arrived to the very last minute we were looked after like we were royalty. The food was awesome, just awesome. Ryan and Glenda - if you’re ever stuck in London you’re more than welcome to come and cook at mine! Four course meals, cooked breakfasts, great wine; I don’t want to leave this place! The tour with Olly is an opportunity not to be missed; with our team being hugely varied in experience he couldn’t be more patient and helpful! The Chalet if perfectly located so you can make the most of the vast Skiable area around Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets etc… You could never get bored here.
The hot tub. We spent a lot of time in here! A new addition for this year and a very welcome one; no more aches and cramps so you’re ready to hit the slopes as soon as you’re up.

The Mountain Mavericks guy’s and gall’s are some of the nicest people I’ve hade the fortune to meet and will be keeping in touch and booking again for next season. Bring it on!

Well after spending my life trawling Tripadvisor and basing any holidays on reviews given by other people I think now is the time to write a review myself :-)

From initial enquiry to the moment we left the level of service provided by Mountain Mavericks was second to none. Emma's efficient reponse to my continual emails and phone calls, Glenda's wonderful hospitality and ability to make my early morning cuppa and the spectacular cooking provided by Ryan.

Chalet La Prele was a lovely place to unwind after a hard day's skiing and the children were well looked after and I must say it was all quite stress free to say I was surrounded by kids!

But really I have to say the real highlight of the week was when my wine glass was filled with some lovely red and we sat down to what were undoubtably some of the best meals I have had. Well done Ryan I think your chef star is in ascendence just dont turn obnoxious on us!

Thanks to you all we had a great time!

A really tremendous family holiday with great friends. Probably the best ski-ing holiday we've ever had with the children.

We cannot rate both Glenda & Ryan highly enough. They made us feel very welcome, were very informative & knowledgable about the resort, extremely helpful with the children and of course Ryan's cooking........unbelievable!! You certainly have a winning combination there! Glenda runs the chalet very efficently and l did miss her this morning bringing in my morning cup of coffee and having a chat about the day etc!!

The only negative comment l would have is the lack of a proper boot room and warmer. On occasions we were having to put on damp boots and we didn't like it. Plus when you are on the bottom floor you can't help but notice how much crud there was on the floor brought in from the outside and therefore despite having indoor shoes it still got dispursed into our rooms as we were nearest to the main door.

We really really enjoyed it, the attention to detail was very evident both before and during our holiday which enabled us as parents to relax and enjoy time spent with our children and with our friends. We are certainly thinking of coming back next year on the condition that Ryan & Glenda are definatley going to be there......... or cloned versions of!

Olly & Emma you both must be very proud of what you have achieved in such a short time and deservably so, you have got it so right, well done!!!
