“And it's a church.”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

I always have a quick once around the block in St. Jacques whenever we're in Dieppe. Just a church, but it has a certain atmosphere about it that I like. Cold though! If you go in winter be sure to wear your long johns!

“Beautiful architecture needing repair”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

This is a beautiful church in the middle of town worth the visit. Although in a state of deterioration, requiring nets to be strung near the roof, it is peaceful and elegant.

“Remarkable renaissance carving”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

This enormous church has remarkable stonework - the rose window, screens, lady chapel and other carving are remarkable and worth a detour although in poor condition in places.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”
Reviewed May 7, 2012 via mobile

The architecture of this church is beautiful. it is largely made in the flamboyant gothic style, which is beautiful without being over the top like rococco. sadly, the church is in terrible repair. a large net hangs through the nave to catch falling debries and obscures the view of the rose window behind the organ. mist if the stained glass was destroyed in WWII.
Nonetheless, it is a peaceful haven and tranquil house of prayer.
