The 3-course dinner menu for 30 euros is amazing value. The starter, gratinated mussels, was one of the best I’ve ever had. Nice atmosphere and service as well. It’s a tiny place so reservations are essential - a number of people walked by and tried getting a table but it was totally fully booked on a Thursday night.

Our dinner was very nice - not spectacular, but good - with the unfortunate exception that one of our group, who has a severe gluten allergy, had some irritation after the dinner - she had explained to the staff that she was allergic, but there must have been some cross-contamination. Our sense was that they didn't take the allergy particularly seriously, also in how they responded to her when she let them know about her allergy.

The rest all enjoyed their meal, but would caution any coeliacs.

This is a wonderful find and worth a visit. Front of house is run by madame. She dealt very well with a crowded friday night crowd. Warning - this is fine dining and it takes a while. Have a conversation, drink something, relax. It is all worth it.

We had starters of soupe de poisson and girolles. Both exquisite. We both went for scallops for the main course. That day they also had fish, kidneys and a steak.

The menu is up on the boards around the restaurant and outside. What you see is what you get, but it is excellent.

We didn't have dessert, but the souffles and the cafe gourmand were huge and looked fantastic. Next time, no starter for us.

This was the first time my friends and I had eaten at this lovely quaint very French restaurant in many years of coming to Dieppe!
The fish -especially the turbot-was stunningly delicious! The wine was a perfect accompaniment -recommend the Macon- and the delightful desserts consisted of a gloriously light and fluffy soufflé and the best strawberries and meringues ever!!!
It had a quiet but totally appropriate atmosphere, and the one lady waitress, Florence-did a great job in keeping all the tables happy with her service!
Book it in advance!!
