We visited this restaurant on a gastronomic tour of France when we visited over half a dozen three star restaurants. This one was among the top of the list. Food was creative and beautifully presented and service was flawless.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a perfect location for touring the champagne region of France. The staff was wonderful and even helped us with an issue regarding obtaining a refund for a canceled tour. THANK YOU!

My wife and our youngest son visited, just for one night en route from the U.K. to Switzerland.

We arrived mid-afternoon, just in time for the Grand Prix which we watched in one of the lounges - choose one of three of four all with different styles - where the staff also served us up a vintage bottle of champagne to kick-start our holiday.

My wife was shown to our room, where we had also requested an extra bed for our young son. She was beautifully surprised. A vast bedroom, complimented by a vast walk-in wardrobe, huge bathroom, comfortable lounge and a small separate lounging area set up for our son for the evening. It was perfect.

We enjoyed an hour or so in the pool before retiring to the room to prepare for dinner.

I also visited L’Aissette Champenoise two years ago as a final stop-over en route back to the U.K. with friends after a European & Alpine road trip. A number of them have stayed since with wives, and I was glad to be back with my wife.

At dinner we selected the Emotion tasting menu from Arnaud Lallement, our young son a smaller tasting menu. Our table discretely in the corner of the upstairs dining suite was perfect. Dinner was incredible and we were delighted to be greeted Arnaud as we concluded the final courses, he took time for a picture as he did with many of the dining parties.

The following morning, breakfast was fantastic and we were tempted by the books and fine fragrances and gifts in the reception area.

Our most treasured momento, the personalised Emotion menu served to us at the conclusion of dinner and the memories of this very special place. Our first anniversary, at the beginning of our 20th anniversary celebrations and with friends - L’Assiette Champenoise is one of our favourite ‘special places’.

Thank you to the team at L’Aissette Champenoise.

We travel a lot and have had some good experiences in some of the best grand suites that 5 star and boutique hotels could offer but nothing comes close to this place. Its not just about decor, service or amenities but its the whole package. The 3 michelin star service from the restaurant certainly trickles over to the hotel and there is nothing to fault. its perfect. we took the Terrace Suite and its sufficient for a family of 3 (little one in tow).

some examples - we wanted fruits off menu, not a problem. Coffee at odd hours - not a problem. in fact, nothing was an issue, everything delivered with a smile and quick. Food is second to none.

location wise, its slightly out of the main locations but easily rectified using a car, cab or limo / chauffeur.

The garden area is marvelous and the family loved this place.

Room Tip: go for terrace suites

A 5 star hotel. A pearl. Only 33 rooms. Perfect place to relax. Quiet. Beyond words the service... Big rooms. Welcoming cakes and Champagne. Indoor swimming pool. Big garden. Valet parking. You feel like a King or a Queen here. Lovely terasse. Fantastic breakfast ( not included but worth having!) This is luxury!!!
