We had booked into this hotel for just one night on our way to the South West of France. We had a problem with the car on day of arrival. Hotel staff spoke excellent English & were so helpful talking to the garage. We stayed an extra night as the car was not ready until 6 pm.
Now the hotel.
Not the biggest rooms in the world but big enough,. Very clean room and also the bathroom the bed was comfortable . Hot well running shower. The breakfast was excellent. from cereal & fruit to ham, cheese & eggs. The choice is your Yours.
The hotel is on a busy road but rooms quite. Chinese buffet next door( ideal as we did not have our car).
I would recommend this very well priced hotel.
The staff go the whole mile for the guests.
also has plenty of parkibg spaces..

We got here after having booked the second night of our journey through "les Chateaux de la Loire" and we decided to stay one more night. It's not suitable for people who can't have access to a car, because it's very badly communicated with the city centre of Tours, but for those of you who have one, it's perfect. 10 minutes drive from the centre, in a quiet and clean place, with lots of places to eat around (and a Lidl if you prefer budget prices) and the best of all: rooms for 18 euros every person... They aren't the best rooms in the world, but for sleeping a couple of nights it's cool. Very well placed in the middle of the route of "Chateaux de la Loire", the furthest that we visited was only 45 minutes drive away!

I would seriously recommend it! ;)

Well, here the Retired Traveller came a little unstook so to speak. You see,we had been driving for some time and did not have immediate access to Trip Advisor, but DID have google search facilities from our car which gave this Hotel 4.5 out of 5. Well, due to the time we checked in and found all not up to our normal travelling experience. The Hotel Recepion Staff member was pleasant enough with the foyer area having WiFi and the Breakfast area looking smart. BUT, the Hotel room was not really the best of experiences. The previous occupant had clearly left their best foot odour behind and only a spell of open window and perfume spraying techniques adopted by the Retired Travellers better half semi saved the day. The 'ensuite area' is a plastic bubble affair. Be warned here, only old fashioned european travel adapters will work in this Hotel, modern ones do not fit, honestly, a trauma when one wants a hair dryer..... The sockets are a ' little wobbly' in the walls so don't be too adventurous when inserting adapters. The rooms are VERY BASIC. When we did move on the next day, we noted that for another 10 to 15 minutes driving you can get to the other side of Tours where a larger selection of Hotels are available. So to sum up, use in case of emergency, park in the shops next door's car park, have room freshener handy for those unexpected feet and if you are over 5'10", move on as you won't get in the 'En Suite', or if you do, you will need to be squeezed out. The Retired Travellers better half thought it had been a 'hollywood experience' When asked what she meant, she just said " The Bates Motel, a night with Norman"

This was a hotel we stopped at on our way down to Barcelona. It was very difficult to find and is set in what can only be described as an industrial estate.
When we checked in the receptionist was very friendly and told us of the free wifi...not really free, only 20 min is free then you have to pay, fine...can't complain as the hotel is cheap
The room itself was not nice. It was tiny, dull and everything plastic and cheap. The view was of a roof with generators on. TV had BBC news. The bathroom was a tiny pod with a shower that trickled water only. But again, it was cheap.
We read that there was a bar, but they only served 1 type of bottled beer or a few soft drinks. No wine, no lemonade, etc.
Breakfast was very nice - nice fresh bread, cheeses and juice.

Overall it was fine for stopover but I have experienced better.

The rooms are small but clean. We initially had a problem in that our bathroom light did not work, this was not fixed from our initial reporting in the morning to our return in the evening, but the staff moved us to another room. I use the word bathroom very loosely however. If you imagine a normal sized room and add inside that room a raised plastic covered platform containing a toilet, sink and shower then that is your bathroom, self contained of course. It is like - if you pardon the expression - going to the bathroom in the same room as someone else - the accoustics make for a loud visit.

Excellent cold buffet breakfast with a huge selection available.

The only fault with the hotel is the location, in that it takes 30 mins by bus to go to the town. However buses are fairly frequent, but not late at night. Taxi into town costs between 25 - 30 euro depending on the route they take !

The bar in the hotel is small but functional. Staff were friendly.
