Debating between poor and average review. The location by the airport at a reasonable price is the good news. This was the second place of this chain we tried. Both were in need of a remodel. The carpets in the room were badly stained. The room was clean, but in this location there were only two bath towels, no hand towels, no wash cloths, which none of the hotels seem to have. We had trouble getting to the hotel, as they were working on the roads, and our GPS kept directing us along a route we were unable to use. When we contacted the hotel for directions, we had a communication issue, as they were unable to tell us how to get to the hotel—this was very poor customer service. After some time and bumper to bumper traffic, as we weren’t the only ones impacted by the ‘deviation’ to the road, we finally arrived at the hotel. At this point, my wife had an immediate need to use the bathroom, while the front desk wanted to chat. We just wanted the key to our prepaid room, so we could both use the facilities. There was also a terrible smell outside the elevator, so not sure if someone else also had to use the restroom and didn’t make it on time or what—it was’t us. Whoever is in charge of this chain of hotels needs to visit them and see the shape they are in and make some allowances to replace the carpet in the rooms because they have good locations and are well priced, but that value is deminished by the lack of quaility. I doubt I’d stay in another Campanile hotel.
