Satueday night and overnighted here to catch the early flight to Luton. Hotel is cheap & cheerful and room very small but perfectly adequate for 2/3 people as a place to lay our heads. The room was for 4 people and I assume the other 2 would be children as there was a bunk type above our double. We were surrounded by a sea of hotels but none were open for evening dining at the weekend and no cafes or supermarkets in walking distance either. Got in our car and finally found a drive in pizza place (didn't know they even existed) so took our pizzas back to our hotel room and stuffed our faces.
The hotel breakfast seemed expensive - just a cold buffet - but the cost of a coffee and croissant at the airport was astronomical so i advise travellers to bite the bullet and buy the Etap breakfastMore
