We loved the cheese stating, some of the nicest cheese I've had, we had a lovely meal..homemade pie and salad, yum yum. It was neat sitting watching the cows come in for milking while we ate. The service was very friendly and helpful in explaining the cheeses.

“Great cafe .”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

This cafe is attached to the best Cheese makers in Tasmania. We tried the hot chocolate , made with their own fresh milk....yummy. We saw others having griled cheese on toast ..they said they were the best. We could also sample and buy their cheeses in cafe

“Couldn't complain about the service- there wasn't any...”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

We dropped in here not because we were hungry but because we were curious to try their cheese. The sign said "cheese tasting" so we thought we'd be able to compare some different cheeses and perhaps buy some. But no-one seemed to want to know us, or even acknowledge our presence. We hung about the part of the counter where a sign said "cheese tasting" but there was no evidence of this occurring, and after wandering around some other parts of the shop looking hopeful, we gave up and left. Sorry we can't tell you more about this place, but it was a complete disappointment. Their staff need some training.

“Dont miss”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

Dont miss this cafe. I have been coming to St Helens on holiday for 40 years and the taste of this cheese reminds me of many a childhood getaway to this lovely area. Back then we used to buy the cheese from a room at the side of an old service station. Things have definitely changed and the cafe is modern and the service good. The real milk icecream and milkshakes fantastic. Dont forget to check out the fully automated dairy at the back of the cafe. The cows amble in when in need of milking and calmy queue for milking. Please dont forget to taste that wonderful cheese.

“The most delicious toasted cheese you'll ever eat!”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

We had lunch here, and it was well worth it. We had a toasted cheese sandwich, which was delicious, a cheese platter, which was just as amazing (they have a huge range of cheddar), and make sure you save room for their ice cream, which is homemade and award winning, and uses only 4 ingredients.
