I visited the Wheatsheaf restaurant for Sunday lunch unfortunately the standard of cooking is poor compared to the previous chef if they continue to serve this type of food they will loose customers to other good country pubs in the area.

This has the potential to be a great place to eat, the food is good but the service was a bit too slow and they don't take cards at the moment. (I believe this will change once the new owners have sorted it) Good parking and staff are friendly. Food is good value.

The new owners are a delight. Food was mouth watering delicious. They are still trying to find there feet a little but understanding under a quick take over. Warm and homely. Well done chaps.

Three of us went here to eat. Dirty tables. Cold plates and bland food.
I do not live near here. I do not work here. I do not know any of the staff.
So my review is honest and true.
I dont care for the managment. We did complain. And we did pay the bill.
This is not a good place to go.
AVOID.
