We booked late because we were going to a festival a couple of miles away and my Wife couldn't cope with camping because of a disability. The welcome was very friendly, the public areas were really homely and spotlessly clean. The room was at the top of the house and had a great view. Bed was king and very comfortable. Our room had a sunken bath and a walk in shower.

We're veggie and had a great breakfast. Everyone couldn't have done any more to make our stay more fabulous than it already was.

As you drive up to The Ffarm it looks absolutely stunning; it more than lives up to its initial impression. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Susan and Stewart. Our spacious room, Tuscany, was gorgeous and better appointed than many hotels with lovely toiletries, tea making, TV, Wi-Fi, hair drier, dressing gowns and slippers. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, spacious and well appointed. The beds were extremely comfy. All in all the room was faultless.

We had an evening meal on both nights of our stay. This was absolutely delicious and can be heartily recommended, home cooked and plentiful enjoyed in the splendid setting of the dining room overlooking some of the two acres of grounds.

Despite the very grand surroundings The Ffarm has a really homely feel, a place where you can totally relax and unwind. We will certainly be returning.

Set in the scenic Welsh countryside with distant views of the sea Is a 'must visit' house with history and warm, hospitable hosts who really go the extra mile to accomodate every need.
By pre-arrangement we thoroughly enjoyed a superb 4-course dinner and a Ffine breakfast the next morning.
The accomodation and facilities are all 5*.

We had a fabulous stay at Ffarm County House on Saturday evening. From the moment you enter the drive, you are wowed. The house is spectacular, tastefully decorated throughout. The owners Susan and Stewart's attention to detail is spot on. Susan's mum Sheila is wonderful and her Welsh cakes ...delicious. We stayed in the Rioja room and my sister stayed in the Chile room. Both rooms were wonderful, especially the Rioja with a fabulous roll top bath. Our bed was scattered with rose petals, a lovely touch. A beautiful rose bouquet and anniversary card awaited us in the room which was a lovely touch from the owners as they knew we were there for a triple celebration, My end to chemotherapy treatment, our anniversary and my brother-in- laws birthday. We dined at the house, meals were cooked to perfection, fabulous wine choice on offer and a good stocked honesty bar in the drawing room which was replenished swiftly as the weather was glorious and several of the other guests were enjoying the "G and T's" on the patio. I can't thank Susan, Stewart and Sheila enough for the first class hospitality we received. Genuine hospitality as they all absolutely love what they do and its a real credit to them. A huge thank you too for the lovely bottle of Cava given to us to start our celebrations off. Would highly recommend Ffarm Country House as the service is second to none! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean.

An easy to find Medieval Guest House mid-way between Carnaervon and Manchester.
The hosts have just taken over this beautiful old establishment and have nothing in common with the hospitality industry....brilliant for us!! Everything was a new experience for both of us. We booked through bookings.com and took a standard room only to be upgraded on arrival to the Champagne suite! We were the only guests and were treated that way. Tea in the drawing room with local treats all at no extra cost. An honesty bar that works with a fine selection of drinks . My biggest sup prise came at dinner when I was presented with a wine list offering a 2009 Klein Zalze Pinotage from South Africa!!! We live in Cape Town and you rarely find good SA wines in the UK and Europe.
The dinner has to be pre-booked or you end up at the local pub! EAT IN whatever you do. For £25 we had a four course dinner that lasted for a week. The home cooking was superb and we had to complain.....they put too much on the plate. My wife and mother begged them to stop but being a food lover I tucked into their's and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
This is going to be a highly successful and sort after guest house. A great experience.

Room Tip: Champagne suite.

Myself and my partner stayed at Ffarm Country House on Saturday 18th May 2012 for a night away to celebrate her 30th Birthday. We usually stay in another hotel in Conwy but after reading the reviews decided to change and give it a go. So glad we did we had a fantastic stay. We stayed in the Cape room and thought it was lovely. We were told we could check in early afternoon and arrived at about 2 pm. We were greeted by Susan and Stuart who gave us a quick tour. Stuart then carried our bags to our room for us, I think the bag which contained 2 bottles of champagne and my partners beauty products consisting of everything from hair dryer to straighteners. Needles to say the bag was heavy. Once in our room my partner was pleased to have received a birthday card and vase of flowers for her birthday. This was a lovely touch and appreciated. The room and bathroom were gorgeous. We had a bath for a couple of hours chilling out with some music and drinking champagne. In the evening we dined in a restaurant that had been recommended by Susan called the Cliffs. It was a lovely restaurant with beautiful food. However after speaking to another couple who had stayed for 2 nights when we visit again I will dine in the Ffarm Country house. We were told of the evening meals that they had enjoyed and were told the food was fantastic, home made with huge portions. We also enjoyed a few drinks in the lounge and made use of the honestly bar. Susan's mother I think her name was Sheila also gave guests complimentry tea and home made cakes. This place is fantastic and I am happy we found it. From the friendly atmosphere, to the fantastic breakfast to the extremely comfortable bed Ffarm Country House had it all. We will definately be returning, hopefully sooner rather than later. Couldn't have asked for more and it was a pleasure to have met such a friendly family who made our stay fantastic. Also to finish I never usually write reviews as I am lazy but felt I had to. Visit and see for yourself.

The out side of the hotel is amazing and the inside didnt disapoint it has an amazing wooden stair case leading up to the bed rooms. We stayed in the Rioja room it was clean and warm it had lovely little touches like a teddy on the bed, robes and a hot water bottle (not that you would need it) the bed is very comfy, I liked that you have a dvd player in your room after a long day sight seeing its nice to snuggle up and watch a film. The breakfast was fantastic i was full untill at least 3pm very unlike me! The hotel is a great base for sight seeing with most places on the north coast reachable in 15-20mins i actually wished i had spent more time at the hotel. The couple who run the hotel couldnt of been more helpful. We really enjoyed are stay and hope to return maybe later in the year
