I ate here a few weeks ago with a group of friends. We had all eaten here a number of times last year and had enjoyed the experience. However, we, a party of six, were collectively disappointed by the quality of the food, poor service and increased cost.
The menus have changed. They have become considerably more expensive. Success has obviously been driven by greed. One can select from two menus: one at 70 another at 90 euros. Two wine menus follow each at an additional cost. We all selected the 90 Euro menu together with a wine menu. We waited and waited and waited to order. Our first course arrived 90 minutes after we had arrived. We also received our first glass of wine. It was poured at the bar and brought to our table. Normally, the waiter does that at the table. I asked to see the bottle as it’s important to see the label and remember the producer, good or bad. The glasses were nondescript supermarket quality. The remaining dishes arrived slowly, very slowly. We were thirsty. Service was non existent. We cancelled the wine menu and ordered a bottle of red. At least we would be in control of that.
Thank goodness we had a lot to talk about otherwise the evening would have been difficult. None of the dishes were exceptional. Service was appalling almost just plate carriers.
My advice: very poor value.
