Dolanog Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #3 of 3 Dolanog B&B and Inns

My wife and I have just returned from completing Glyndwr's Way. We stayed at Dolanog B&B and give it 10 out of 10. We were warmly received with tea and cake, and shown to first class accommodation: clean, spacious and modern, with large glass windows overlooking peaceful countryside. Excellent meal provided by our hosts, Sue and John. All in all just what's needed after hiking across wild moorland in any kind of weather. If we ever return to this beautiful area we will be staying here.

As a seasoned B abd B traveller, I have to say we found truly exceptional accommodation with Sue and John. The welcome was so warm it felt like home from home from the first instant. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable with panoramic views from all vistas. Sue's attention to detail did her proud, nothing was too much trouble, she even sent us home with Bara Brith and Scones for a charity coffee morning I had organised on my return home.
If you are looking for something special in Wales, don't hesitate to book.

Two of us arrived wet-through and were immediately comforted by a friendly welcome and tea and scones, eaten whilst looking out from comfortable chairs, onto lovely scenery.Hot showers restored our spirits yet more and the luxury of a pristine white robe was a thoughtful touch. The house is all open vistas and warm wood. The outside is invited in through all the expanses of glass and the bird life visiting the feeders can be watched at close quarters. We particularly enjoyed the group of jays flying back and forth. The rooms were very comfortable and dietary needs were met with ease. We enjoyed good food and left in the morning feeling restored and energised for another day's walking.

Room Tip: all good rooms

When visiting friends in Wales, Dolanog has now become the place to stay. Sue and John consistently give a warm and sincere welcome and make you feel so at home in their home. The accomodation is everything you could wish for, and the breakfast, well, you have to taste it to know just how good it is. What more can we say, a visit to Dolanog is a must. We will be back!!

We chose this B&B for its convenient location as we were walking the Glyndwr Way. It was a great choice with lovely big rooms, great showers and mega-comfortable beds. We had our own lounge with a huge view across the countryside.

We also ate in the B&B. The lasagne was very good as was the wine.

Recommended - especially as it is less expensive than anything else in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at this top quality B&B located in a very scenic area of mid-Wales. Sue is a most welcoming and generous host. Her home is beautifully finished, easily accessed, and with views out over a tranquil valley to sit in the evening and relax with a drink. Everything about my stay was perfect.
