Hyatt's Manion Lake Camp
Reviewed January 8, 2013

I have had the blessing of seeing many parts of the world, including luxury resorts and remote, eco-resorts. During the past 11 years, my trips to Hyatts have been some of my greatest experiences. Don and Brenda give their guests a true north woods experience. The lodge, lakes and forests are beautiful. The cabins are perfectly maintained and you can count on every motor starting immediately. There is firewood ready at each cabin and all bathrooms and showers are spotless. Somehow they even make large fish bite and they arrange for us to see bear and moose every trip. The cabins are secluded enough for as much privacy as you want but there is usually great conversation every night at the lodge. I would recommend Hyatts to anyone and I am certain that they will create memories that will never fade. It takes about 1.6 minutes to become friends with the entire Hyatt family and it will take you about 1.6 minutes after you leave to start missing the camp and begin planning your next visit.

I have been going to Manion Lake since the 1970's , and have always found this the best place to relax and fish. The Hyatts have a great place. The cabins are clean
and have all the amenities the fishing is great.

Our group of 8 just got back from a wonderful Canadian fishing trip at Hyatt's. The folks that operate it are great. The cabins are clean and comfortable and the fishing was good, even in the dog days of August. Everyone in our group wants to return next year.

It's difficult to find the words to describe our stay at Hyatt's camp on Manion Lake late June 2012. The accomodations were perfect, the Hyatt Family service was impeccable, they are sole of the earth people,

My Dad, brother and chilhood friend had a blast!!!

The fishing was better than a dream...Walleye, Smallmouth (2-4 pounders common), and Northern's (from hammer handle size to 35", see picture (Mr. Ellingson struck it big with a buzz bait on Moose Trap Lake, a must do portage)...

If you want to get away from civilization (and I mean out in the bush) and you love to fish...book a trip now, you will not regret it...

Thanks again to the Hyatt's...

This is a fantastic place to travel for a fishing destination. Don, Brenda, Allison and Alex are very kind and accomodating. The cabins are always very clean and well kept. Fishing on the lakes are great with many places to catch good numbers of fish. The docks are great and in great condition. This is a great place to bring a family as well. This will be my 6th year and others in our group have been going for over 20. Thanks! Todd W-WI

Room Tip: All the cabins are great, what more can I say?

We portage to Pettit Lake each year and it's like fishing your own private lake. Don has to be the hardest working man in the resort business. The cabin is always spotless and help is just a radio call away.

The fishing is always outstanding. The bite is always hot on something every day. Set up for walleyes in the Kitchen every evening and get ready to smile.

Speaking of smiles, Brenda always has one when we arrive and the resort is always better this year than the last. If you're going somewhere else, you're wasting an chance at a perfect trip!

Room Tip: We portage to Pettit Lake and it is as quiet as an empty chapel at night with a beautiful sunset eac...

We have been going to Hyatt's for many years. Thanks to Brenda and Don they have buildt this woodland paradise on a private beautiful Lake Manion. Each cabin looks out onto beautiful Lake Manion that take you to more cabins on the out post. Brenda and Don created this place that you can enjoy and relax. It is a drive to get there and that prepares you to lovely cabins with flat screen TV. Fishing is excellent with enough to provide for many meals. Don and Brenda greet those who come with warmth and friendliness.
