This lovely cafe is tucked away behind a pet food shop, but is a wonderful hidden gem. The local ice-cream is the best I've ever had in this country, with a wide range of delicious flavours. There's also a lovely 'all-day breakfast' and lunch menu, a deli with local cheeses and antipasti, and a small shop.
This place was a real find, and I will be back often to sample its delights! It is on the pricy side, but worth every penny.

eaten there a few times now. The food is fab. love the decor and casual atmosphere. The staff are friendly, service is efficient, The menu is limited and to attract repeat customers they will need to look at varying the menu. Ps gravy with the sausage and mash on the childrens menu would be good.

Cowabunga this newly madeover cafe/deli/icecream parlour is just simply BRILLIANT. I cycled 25 miles to find it and boy was it worth it. Try the bacon sandwich - delicious local streaky bacon just oozes into the home made soda bread - what a treat, with lashings of brown sauce. Great coffee from the barista bar, lovely foodie mags to drool over whilst relaxing, lovely bright-eyed attentive staff bustling efficiently around all the while...the ride home was a doddle after this refreshing little pit stop. Don't forget to visit Bo's Shed (a lovely blond labrador puppy) and offer a loving pat on your way in/out, she's an important part of the team!

Went to the milk shed today expecting an old ice cream shop and what a pleasant surprise! Lots of lovely cakes, I had hot buttered toast served with lemon curd which was lovely, the staff were brilliant and the decor was fab and made me feel
Like I had walked into a farmhouse kitchen. I hear that the lunches are fab too so I will definitely return and if standards stay the same I'm sure it will be a regular haunt for me to go to !
