“try it at least once”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

as most people know, this is an iconic tourist spot. if you have never been, and are not just wanting to grab something quickly, it's fun to stop. when you go in, you are in the lobby/store. it has typical souvenir and gift items as well as candy. the restaurant itself is large so it seats a lot of people. waitresses wear outfits that look like they are traditional costume from a scandinavian country. two of us split a greek salad and a swiss mushroom burger, and the bill came to about 21. (we drank water) dinner was served with rolls and butter. the burger was great as was the cold slaw. the greek salad was very large and it was decent. my traveling companion had never been, so it was fun. i probably would not go again unless i was with a newcomer to the place.

“Pleasant Surprise!”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

Located conveniently off Hwy 5, who knew you could find this quality of restaurant. Forget Taco Bell and don't stop at In and Out. Whether you a salad, giant hamburger or turkey dinner...this has it all. The veggies are perfectly sauteed. Not mushy! Generous portions too. Most people leave with a doggie bag.

“Efficient”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Lots of kids so very noisy. Good waiter. Refill quick on ice tea since over 100 outside. Too hot to get their pea soup which have had before and love it.

“Good food - better than a chain”

Yummy pea soup. Just like moms. All the food at our table was great and we had excellent service. Portions were good - had leftovers.

“Not what I thought it was going to be.”
Reviewed May 27, 2013

Saw this restaurant on TV and decided to try it. Especially the pea soup. Expected a menu that was more, "Danish". The menu items are ok for a Dennys type place, or truck stop. I took one spoonful of pea soup and stopped...it was horrible...what is that strange back taste? Not pleasant. Luckily I just got the cup. Split a Reuben with my husband and it was ok....little soggy. The service was quick and the staff very nice. I wouldn't go back though.
