“Very Nice”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

We had lunch at the Driftwood Cafe. We had the daily soup and it was excellent. We also had a meat pie and a spinach pie also very good. Service was excellent. It is located in down town Georgetown across from the Peace and Plenty hotel.

“Great Cafe Necessities: people, food, location. Check, check, check.”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

What a great place! The Driftwood Cafe is a perfect example of the best of Exuma. The delightful staff are ready to cater to any of your requests, and the cozy decor is a magnet to locals and visitors who happily partake in friendly conversations. I was only there for breakfast, but the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich with mayo, mustard, lettuce, and tomato is a fantastic way to start the day.
Finally, the location of the Cafe is ideal: after finishing your meal, you just turn left and walk a few steps to reach the docks, where after a few minutes you can jump into the most beautiful waters in the world!
Just writing about it makes me want to go back!

“Had a nice breakfast here”
Reviewed June 25, 2012

This small spot is a fun place to go for breakfast before heading out on a boat from Minn's for the day, being that it is located right next door.

The decor is tasteful and the breakfast choices, while limited, were most tasty. Their drip coffee was the best we had on the island and they have a nespresso machine for those who want a good latte or cappuccino.

“Cute place -”
Reviewed June 19, 2012

We had breakfast here before heading out on a boat for the day. It was confusing.....breakfast menu only had 2 sandwiches listed - didnt see anything else so I got a muffin - then saw others eating meals. Was nice to be indoors to avoid the bugs! The staff were extremely nice - would have gone back if the menu had more breakfast items.

“Great little cafe”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

There aren't that many restaurants on Great Exuma, and pretty much no cafes. Driftwood Cafe, is a lovely change from the typical fare of the island. The sandwiches are yummy (must try: organic Uruguay beef sandwich). Everything looked so good, I couldn't decide what to order! Prices are very reasonable, especially for The Bahamas, Cute little patio out front and a simply decorated, yet comfortable, interior where you can meet friendly locals and interesting visitors to Exuma.
