A fabulous weekend at Cuffern Manor, in such peaceful surroundings. Our first stay here but will return and recommend. The bedrooms were very comfortable and a really good size. There was a lovely sitting room area with tea making facilities and the breakfasts were home cooked (loads of variety on offer). A great stay with a real country manor escape feel to our weekend.

We have just returned from the John Kirkpatrick weekend at Cuffern which was a great event in itself but made even better by the lovely setting. We have been to some of the acoustic evenings but this was the first time we have stayed and it more than lived up to expectations. The warm and friendly atmosphere is exceptional,Jane's meals and cakes and breakfast are the very best of fresh home cooking,we had a lovely room with spotless ensuite with a great instantly hot shower and view over the grounds and surrounding fields. The guest sitting room has a TV,books, magazines and a good selection of teas and coffee with a fridge with proper milk, also a jar of biscuits. The room was nice and warm and the bed very comfortable. This is a lovely base in Pembrokeshire - you get to stay in a historic house and feel at home thanks to Julian and Jane.

Your comments are very welcome and we are pleased you enjoyed your weekend. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to write the review. It certainly helps to make a very busy weekend worthwhile for us both. The music wasn't bad either, was it?

Our return visit to Cuffern Manor was just as lovely as we remembered. Cuffern is a in a beautiful area of countryside, and the house is welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are well appointed, beds really good, and it is so peaceful, you will sleep like a log! The owners really make you feel at home, and have loads of local knowledge and tips on where/what to visit. The brilliant breakfasts will set you up for a day's sightseeing-there are so many wonderful beaches nearby.
A lovely place to relax

What a brilliant place, hotel is lovely and really nicely decorated / quaint. Made to feel really welcome and in a beautiful area. Les Barker was amazing and a well organised event. Fab breakfast in the morning & most helpful owners who are even posting my boots back to me that I managed to leave in the room!! Recommended

It is very kind of you to show us your appreciation. We enjoy hosting music events every month and Les Barker was one of our most popular acts. We are glad you enjoyed your one night stay with us.

Me and my husband stayed here for the night after a friends wedding. The owners were lovely, warm and welcoming. And the Manor is very nicely out of the way of everything but easy to find. We was told we was the only ones staying that night but for a good majority of the evening and night we had to make sure our door was locked as children kept trying to get in, not sure if they was part of the staff, family or people that came to stay that night last minute. Other than that our stay was perfect. thanks :)

Thank you for taking the time to write this review and for the positive comments. You are right... some last minute guests did have two young children and we are sorry that they
disturbed you.

The best way to sum up my feelings about this stay is to tell you that I was working out how to return within an hour of my departure. The whole experience was a delight and I would encourage you to consider this place if you’re ever in the area. It’s just far enough to be “away from it all” but at the same time close enough by car to the beautiful harbour of Solva, and St Davids a little further up. Wood burner, a library for browsing through in the evening and that lovely Pembrokeshire air - what more do you need! Julian ( the owner) couldn’t do enough and the overall experience was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Since my orginal review of Cuffern Manor, I have stayed with Julian and Jayne on a number of occassions both as part of a group or as a solo break. So I thought it was time to update my review.

In the past years, Julian and Jayne have updated the decor and facilities many of the rooms with many of the rooms now being en-suite and only have a few more to go.

The welcome is always wonderful, with great food and hospitality throughout the stay.

I look forward to my next visit.
