Me and my husband stayed here for the night after a friends wedding. The owners were lovely, warm and welcoming. And the Manor is very nicely out of the way of everything but easy to find. We was told we was the only ones staying that night but for a good majority of the evening and night we had to make sure our door was locked as children kept trying to get in, not sure if they was part of the staff, family or people that came to stay that night last minute. Other than that our stay was perfect. thanks :)

Thank you for taking the time to write this review and for the positive comments. You are right... some last minute guests did have two young children and we are sorry that they
disturbed you.

The best way to sum up my feelings about this stay is to tell you that I was working out how to return within an hour of my departure. The whole experience was a delight and I would encourage you to consider this place if you’re ever in the area. It’s just far enough to be “away from it all” but at the same time close enough by car to the beautiful harbour of Solva, and St Davids a little further up. Wood burner, a library for browsing through in the evening and that lovely Pembrokeshire air - what more do you need! Julian ( the owner) couldn’t do enough and the overall experience was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Since my orginal review of Cuffern Manor, I have stayed with Julian and Jayne on a number of occassions both as part of a group or as a solo break. So I thought it was time to update my review.

In the past years, Julian and Jayne have updated the decor and facilities many of the rooms with many of the rooms now being en-suite and only have a few more to go.

The welcome is always wonderful, with great food and hospitality throughout the stay.

I look forward to my next visit.

Only one night as travelling. Great host and wonderful breakfast. No Tv in room but as only guests (4) of us watching in lounge no problem Comfortable bed in spacious double room. Wonderful countryside with narrow lanes -don't know if I would have found it so easily without google maps online

After a long drive we received a very warm welcome from Julian who showed us around and led us to our very spacious en-suite room, which was spotlessly clean. Jayne came to welcome us and brought us freshly baked welsh cakes to have with our coffee. The lounge was cosy and inviting with a large selection of unusual and traditional beverages along with a biscuit barrel. Julian and Jayne gave good local knowledge and made suggestions in a very relaxed way, not at all pushy. The history of the Manor had been thoroughly researched by the family and it made very interesting reading, adding to the pleasure of the stay. The breakfast was plentiful, and foods were locally sourced or grown in the Manor's walled garden. This set us up for a wonderful anniversary. We parked at the local beach Newgale (superb) walked a section of the coastal path, had sunday lunch in the local pub as recommended by Julian, and a passer by, excellent and visited the local food fair at Narberth. On our return we found a lovely vase of pink roses in our room, what a lovely kind gesture, thank you. All I would say is that 2 nights isn't long enough, when we return we'll come for a week.

Room Tip: The rooms with the best views are at the front of the Manor. They face south and views are spectacul...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We hope to see you in our beautiful county again-May and June are great for the flowers and puffins and our music festival in the walled garden.

Very welcoming with the best selection of tea I've seen anywhere. We drink Rooibos and it was there. Fantastic library and great breakfast. Enjoyed reading the history of the Manor and chatting with our host,Julian. Easy and lovely drive to beach at Newgale.
Would book meal in hotel next time as prefer not to turn out to eat, but to be fair we knew that before we booked.
