Nice friendly staff, great food. The cod in batter is crispy and surprisingly light, good portion sizes

“Stick to making it in-house”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

Fish superb, chips superb, mushy peas good, service attentive and friendly, bought in whitebait horrible, homemade tartar sauce needs to make acquaintance with some of the green ingredients, directions given spot on. Well worth the 5 mile detour.

“Best Fish & Chips in Wales”
Reviewed June 26, 2014

Once again we had an excellent meal last night at this wonderful restaurant. The food was of the usual high standard and was served by the lovely Sally who was so pleasant and helpful. Can't wait to return yet again to sample the finest seafood in Wales, and hopefully to be served up with a big smile by Sally once more.

If you haven't been here before you must visit next time you are in Pembrokeshire , wherever you are staying. If you have been here before, you will not need my recommendation to make you return here !

“Fresh fish and a friendly service!”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in the area, on the recommendation of a family member.
The restaurant was decorated lovely and was very clean. A friendly lady seated us and made us feel most welcome. We ate outside in there lovely garden area whilst the sun was shining.
I had the seafood medley, all the components were cook perfectly and tasted delicious.
I would recommended this lovely restaurant to everyone, deffinately worth a visit!

“No way!”
Reviewed June 19, 2014

Supposed to be the best, award winning fish and chips in the area but we were really disappointed. There was a queue for the takeaway and so we thought they must be good. There was no jumbo cod on offer so had the haddock and chips. Fish was OK but very thin and the chips were tasteless and floury.
If you want to pay nearly £15 for two haddock and chips and have a mediocre supper, go ahead if not stay away.

We are disappointed to hear that you did not have a good experience with us. We can only apologise for there being no jumbo cod available when you visited us, unfortunately these are subject to availability and are a very popular choice among our customers. Haddock is sadly in a national shortage at the moment and is becoming increasingly difficult to source and is a great deal more expensive so this reflects the price. We have recently changed our frying medium to rapeseed oil to provide a healthier options and more flavour to our customers as we are constantly trying to improve the options available.
