Well fitted and kitted out spacious lodge next to a golf club.
The lodge had everything, tv in all rooms bar the kitchen, loads of dvds, a wii with lots of games, two bathrooms and comfy beds. There are plenty of toys and games should you have children with you, so perfect for the variable Welsh weather.
It's just a skip and a hop from the clubhouse, which is perfect for meals. The club doesn't seem to have a strict clothes rule as some do, so ok for holiday clothes.
Penally is perfectly placed for the best beaches on the South Pembrokeshire coastline.
The only bugbear was not knowing the house rules about the dustbin.

Booked to stay at 1Longbury Lodge and I can't fault the setting, the manor for a fabulous fine dining experience and the lay out of the lodge. It was very clean when we arrived and initially we thought wow! Unfortunately there are a few down points noted once we started to use the facilities, the whole place is need of updating and refreshing, Dirty non working skylight, power wash or paint exterior, revarnish wooden flooring, when we used the washing machine the whole of the downstairs floor shook and there were many cracked tiles. There were many bulbs not working, the downstairs outside light, several in dining area and the mirror light in the master bedroom. There is a serious lack of out door seating only a picnic bench set and several members of the party found that uncomfortable due to back issues, and 2 bistro seats. we had fab sunshine and would have loved to have been able to sit out watching sunset with a glass of wine but couldn't. There is a lock up where chairs could be safely stored. Another disappointment was there wasn't a mirror near any working socket to dry and style your hair in the master bedroom. On plus side beds were comfortable as were the 2 seater sofas in the lounge. If you took a child there are many toys to amuse them with in lounge area and a Wii, high hair and camp cot. There were plenty of games, DVDs, and books if you forgot to pack anything to amuse yourself with.
