We came back but the restaurant changed. The food was good like the Hamachi but the rest of the meal didn't blow us away like it did before. Our friends were disappointed about the halibut. He said it had no taste. I thought the octopus was very good and tender which is so unlike octopus. The shumai was okay. Before we don't remember the loudness but with the new decor, the sounds bounced off and was difficult to hear. We miss the old restaurant. I know.....change can be good. We are old folks who like the old restaurant. It felt romantic. We like slow service but our friends didn't. Our waitress was excellent.

We very much appreciate the honest feedback regarding your dining experience. Although we are loving our new space, we understand that there are aspects of the old dining room that are missed as well. Our nightly goals are still in place, to provide outstanding service with Chef Budi's amazing cuisine and I will be sure the feedback is shared with him as well.

We sat at “The Gathering Table.” A large wooden table for 12. We had a party of 6 and were later joined by a nice couple. This is Asian fusion shared plates. With a big group, you can try a lot of dishes. Here are some of our favorites: hamachi, black cod, lamb chops, garlic noodles, shumai, tempura cauliflower, warm chocolate cake for dessert. Really enjoyed our dinner.

We went to The Gathering Table on a cold January night. Immediately we were welcomed by roaring fire. Our reservation was ready as soon as we walked in we were seated at a table right next to the fire actually the gathering table, which seated 12 but we never felt invaded upon. This restaurant is newly remodeled but more importantly newly reimagined.

Well the Decor and the setting are beautiful, the real stars the food. We started with a fantastic leak and potato soup that was to die for. I chose a Panzanella salad that was yummy. And we finished our delicious meal with an apple crisp with the perfect amount of sweetness.

The service was excellent friendly and kind but clearly professional. Over the last few weeks, I have thought about that dinner often. It was the perfect balance of excellence and Comfort.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here earlier this week. Everything was terrific from start to finish. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a New England Inn. There is a large fireplace at one end, comfortable booths and simple plank tables with high backed chairs.
Service was friendly, helpful and professional.
But, the food (of course) was the best part. There is something on the menu for everyone and you can order a traditional starter and main or, as we did, share small plates. Many of the items have an Asian influence. We ordered the Shimue (a dim sum style dumpling), the Hamachi, the best Caesar salad I have ever had and sliders with fois gras. Mostly the dishes were simple with a slightly different interpretation, all were fabulous! Oh - and house made ice cream for dessert - vanilla, Mexican chocolate and bananas foster. As I’m writing this, I’m thinking I’d better go back sooner rather than later....
