My wife and I held our wedding here in late April.
The homestead is magnificent. The grounds in Autumn are stunning.
We had booked the entire venue for the night prior and had a group of friends stay and have dinner with us. The service was very personal and professional throughout our stay.
The food was exceptional every night (including the wedding).
We were so happy with the estate that we extended our stayed for an extra couple of nights after the wedding to relax.
I think the accommodation must be up there as some of the best in the state.
You really need a car to stay there, but it isn't a long way from Tamar Valley wineries and the other various tourist attractions that Northern Tasmania has to offer.
The attached golf course is very good, and very quiet. This may change in coming years as more people discover it.
If you are looking for a hotel in Northern Tasmania I don't think you will find one that comes close to Quamby.
