“Delicious !”
Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

We didnt get to pick our own strawberries due to it being out of season but the gift shop and cafe in there were open. The strawberries are fresh and cheap ! $5.00 for 500g.

Unfortunately we were served by a girl with a blunted affect who obviously didnt want to be there.

“A nice pause on our day out”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Sunny ridge provided the perfect setting to take a break on our day trip to the Mornington Peninsula. We stopped for tea and treats, the latter of which abounded at Sunny Ridge. Whilst the strawberries aren't quite what we get in England they are probably the best I had whilst in Australia - big, juicy and bursting with flavour. Worth a visit if you're passing by.

“Lovely morning stop, even in bad weather”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

We were a little disappointed when it began to rain during our visit, but went out in the fields in between showers to pick strawberries and take pictures. The strawberries were easy to get to and find, and made a tasty morning snack. We were also pleasantly surprised by the nice variety of strawberry products and other locally grown goodies available, and the lady working at the register was charming. The only thing that would've made our trip better was easier access to the fields, which were quite a distance to walk in the mud. Otherwise, though, it was a lovely morning stop and a fun experience.

“over-rated and doesn't live up to the hype”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

We went there lured by the idea of strawberry waffles but were quickly disappointed when they arrived at our table - the waffles were doughy rather than crisp, and the chocolate sauce (who needs chocolate sauce for breakfast, really) was the milky sugary kind engineered to guarantee instant diabetes. The strawberries were the one redeeming feature, but were hardly worth the $11 price of the plate. I have given 2/5 stars only because doubtless if you are the kind of visitor who gets excited over the idea of being on a strawberry farm where you can experience 100 variations on the theme of strawberries - strawberry waffles, strawberry jam, strawberry kitschy gifts and knick-knacks for friends and friends of friends - then you would probably not want to miss it.
