Kambutaleko is clean, friendly, and a pretty reasonable price for the area. It is up a steep hill, but the views when swinging from one of the hammocks once you are up there is worth it. It was hot at night when we stayed but they did have some floor standing fans which really help. We also left our doors and windows open at night. The most expensive double room has a fridge.

Most people who come here have a car, but we didn't and its easy to hitch hike to town to get a few bits and pieces. The restaurants are a walk-able distance, the best we found was Nuvia's, run by a local and for around $2 or 3 you get a great plate of food.

Various surfing points nearby, the beach break is very close, and other breaks are accessible but you may need to hitch if going with out a car. You can rent surf boards, just ask around, not much selection though.

Overall the place is super quiet and a lot quieter than Venao and a great place to just chill!

Room Tip: The most expensive room has a fridge, get a floor standing fan if you can.
