“Steak night every Thursday”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

After hearing about this from a friend we thought we would give it a try. The place has improved so much I hardly recognised it. Food was really nice, excellent value (steak and a pint for £11) and the friendly service was also a plus. We have started to eat here more frequently now and it's always been really good.

“Love it here”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

I have been here about half a dozen times now and I am always pleased. Real ale. Honest bar food. Great puddings. Outdoor seating. Good views. Nice indoor ambience - casual and comfy. Will be coming again.

“SUNDAY LUNCH SPECIAL”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

This large public house and hotel overlooking the bay has a substantial traditional feel to it with plenty of wood in evidence. There is plenty of free parking. The building is fronted by a smoker's area on each side of the entrance which is less than attractive (unless I suppose you are a smoker). We went specifically for the Sunday lunch specials and tried the roast beef and ham from four Sunday roast choices and the standard menu.
The service was friendly and the food was lovely and in good quantity. The meat was very good, the roast potatoes roasted, rather than fried and the huge mound of vegetables, crisp.
