There are no words! The food was amazing, especially the mac and cheese!! You can visit the salt pond bay then enjoy dinner at this very eclectic, fun spot on the east end of the island!

When we are on STJ Oasis is a must stop. If only for the Coral Bay vibe and the beautiful setting. The real reason is Karen's food. Everything we have ordered there is top notch. The best example was on our last visit we brought a salad home and ate half. Two days later we finished it and the greens and the diced tomatoes were still perfect. If goats in the parking lot or Styrofoam containers for food bothers you this place may not be for you. If that is the case St John may not be for you because Oasis is one of the reason STJ is called Love City

We drove over to Coral Bay from Cruz Bay just to eat at the Oasis. We were not suprised.. it was as good as the folks said it was going to be. My husband had chicken fried chicken & I had pork tenderloin. Both excellent choices.. the mac n cheese & green beans were fabulous too! The view wonderful..as it overlooked Coral Bay.

Note: They were closed Mondays during the time frame we were there (September )

We absolutely loved the Oasis!! Karen's food is delicious and plentiful with a varying daily menu. One dinner is really enough to share! We really did not have anything that we did not thoroughly enjoy.

After a long day at the beach or boating with three kids the ability to call in an order and bring it home and not have to worry about everyone showering and getting ready to go out to eat or having to cook was a true blessing. We took out from the Oasis at least five times during our two week stay!

Thank you Karen:)

When we landed on St Thomas, our car rental company messed up and wanted us to pay 1300$ on a credit card to secure a vehicle. The limit on my card was 1000$ so we were stuck without a rental car on st. thomas. Our villa we rented was on St John, so we took a taxi to Red Hook and took the people ferry over to Cruz Bay.

Long Story short, we took another crazy taxi to coral bay and the driver refused to "take us up in the hills" I knew our place was close to Island Blues so I had our driver drop us off there. Mind you, we had just flown in from the midwest and my wife is 4 months pregnant. Coral bay was mostly shut down (it was 9:00) so it was very dark and quiet when the taxi left. So no car, not 100% sure where our villa is and everything looked deserted. (Don't worry Im getting to the part with the Oasis)

There was a light on in the dirt parking lot across the street and a couple of people sitting around and a closed sign on the Oasis gate. We walked up and asked for help. Karen gave us water and iced tea (for free even) and helped us contact the property manager and didnt leave us until we had our ride home.

They truly lived up to their name as an Oasis!

The food was also some of the best on the island. We had their broccoli and rice, a zucchini bake, a crab pie, sweet potatoes, plantains and raisins, all were big portions and really tasty. Cant wait to come back!

Hint: They run out of food so call ahead with your order.
