“Homemade Dark Chocolate and Ginger Ice Cream!!! OMG!!!”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

We always visit Cafe Concordia as the food, drink, atmosphere and staff are wonderful! The awesome views are not to be missed...The other day Joe suggested we try a homemade dessert and I couldn't pass up the sound of ginger ice cream, and, being a chocolate fan as well, I ordered one scoop of each. Chunks of ginger with the smooth taste of dark chocolate was reminiscent of Green & Blacks' Organic dark chocolate and ginger bar!!! Five Star Quality!!!

“Delicious food, excellent drinks, great service, beautiful view.”
Reviewed January 26, 2013

This restaurant is located in the Concordia Eco-Resort. Excellent food and drink menu with a happy hour from 3:30 to 5:30 with great prices on drinks. Our group of seven ate several meals here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Never had a bad meal. Drinks are reasonably priced and well done. Bartender and wait staff are friendly and helpful. The location, perched on a hillside, provides beautiful views of Salt Pond Bay and the Ram Head peninsula in the distance. Sunday brunch was great – our group had the spicy frittata, crab bennies, huevos rancheros, and mahi tacos (special that day) and all were excellent. Sunday brunch also included live entertainment. Sunday dinner menu was somewhat limited but with surprisingly good pizza the specialty that night. Other very good dishes ordered at other meals included tomato and basil gorgonzola flat bread, stir fry tofu, and mussels. We stayed in the Concordia Eco-studios from a Friday through Monday and the cafe was open each day. It may be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

“Pleasent surprise”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We had never made it here our first visit to St John but this time we made it for dinner and breakfast the next day. The prices were fair and everything was really good. The drinks are strong, good prices, wonderful sunsets and the service is great. If you are over in coral bay or have spent the day at salt pond bay it is laid back so coming in your beach cover up for lunch or early dinner is no big deal

“Great Food, Exceptional Service, Stunning View”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

My wife and I recently stayed at Concordia and enjoyed a few meals at Cafe Concordia. The vegan meal on the dinner menu is exceptional. A vegan appetizer option would have been nice. Sunday brunch was less vegan friendly, but there were plenty of veg options. It's a little surprising that a resort as eco-conscious as Concordia didn't have more of a veg-friendly menu, though in truth, we couldn't have asked for a more veg-friendly staff. The servers and chefs were kind and accommodating.

As for the overall experience of the resort, well, I hate to let a great secret out, but it is one of the loveliest places on earth. The location is stunning and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. We hope to return many times.

“Amazing Food at the Peak of an Island”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

From Joe, the Manager, to Aaron, Lauren, Jessie (hope I didn't spell wrong) every staff member was super-attentive and super-friendly. It was obvious that they loved their jobs and loved living on St. John. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and presentation of every meal. We ate fresh green salads, grown locally, and fresh fish every night with superbly prepared accompaniments. This "cafe" at Concordia had the best Sunday brunch we had been to even at pricey places in the US. We loved the simple, yet elegant, fresh, and organic meals we ate while there. Their happy hour drinks were amazing! They had many boaters who moored in Salt Pond and walked to Cafe Concordia for their happy hours and dinners. They even provide a shuttle service to boaters who call ahead. We loved the acoustic guitarist and wish we could have been there for the live music on Monday night. Loved Cafe Concordia!!
