Great little place. Service was great. Still have flashbacks of the pulled pork nachos- oh so good. Fish tacos excellent as well. Just fit it in if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Don't miss it! Be sure to try the pulled pork nachos, and their painkiller! Take time to watch the birds eating from the feeders.

Larry makes an incredible lobster roll. HUGE pieces of fresh caribbean lobster served on a warm buttery, toasted bun. Stopped by and ate it three times on the trip. Very laid back atmosphere. Mary is a sweetheart! This is a cant miss stop when visiting St John. Prepare yourself Larry, I will be there in ten years to join you for a beer...permanently..

We ate at the Tourist Trap twice during our stay on St. John. Our party enjoyed our visits both times. The owners and employees are warm and engaging -- sort of like friendly hippies who serve good food. The place sets on top of a hill and the views are great. Highly recommend the BQ pork and the "Drive Left and Drink Right" drinks. They are serve a local beer that is top notch. Tried the grouper sandwich the first time -- its seems healthy, but is not as tasty as the BQ pork nachos. Lots of animals around and the place has very relaxed feel. They have a tree with dozen of bananaquits fluttering about. Not open for diner.

Coral Bay is a special place--hard to get there and moreover, harder still to drag oneself away. The Tourist Trap is a mainstay for locals and a great :discovery for tourists. If you're looking for a "pirate bar" give it a try along with Island Blues and Skinny Legs. Excellent rum drinks mixed at the outdoor bar--gosh, everything is outdoors except the stove! Try the "Boom-Boom", a banana/coconut smoothie with island rum. Yum. For teetotalers, even without rum, it's fantastic. Enjoy the grouper sandwich while you marvel at the "sugarbirds" dining in a nearby tree
All-in-all, excellent sandwiches, superb beverages and the island ambience you're craving.
