Not exactly a major tourist destination, this complex of cabins feels like a 1960s era holiday camp. Some of the air conditioning units work. Some of the phones work. The tap water is not safe to drink. Food is uninspired in bland. Internet access is limited to a couple of PCs by the reception desk. No Wifi. Some petty crime. One of our group had here clothes stolen from the beach while snorkeling. The water itself is gorgeous.
But overall it's clean and comfortable, and on weekends there's an active local beach party scene starting Friday around noon. More Cuban than the all inclusive resorts elsewhere in the country. If there's some reason you need to be in this area, then this is a reasonable place to stay.More
