“Excellent address in Langkawi”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

This place is just amazing! You don't get nice bread anywhere in Langkawi, just like you don't get real patries and big salads (like greek salad or salade niçoise) but if you visit La Chocolatine there you are are!! You get great value for your money and everything is so fresh and tasty - you simply want to come back and share this address with all your friends and other "gourmet" tourists. The French baguette, the "pain au chocolat", the "tartelette au citron" - all home made by the owner who is a Frenchman and who is a real patissier. He imports the ingredients from France and know his job so well. All we tasted was absolutely great!

“A genuine patisserie”
Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

This is a cute little place with very good pastries. I had a pain au chocolat, quiche and it was delicious. Further, they have freshly squized juices and good coffe. I am very happy with my breakfast here.

“Delicious Hot Chocolate”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

I had read the good reviews of this place and my interest was certainly piqued as I am a pastry lover and always love a good, flaky buttery croissant. Unfortunately I had already downed a heavy breakfast when I chanced upon this quaint French cafe perched on Pantai Tengah. I couldn't resist so I ordered the classica special hot chocolate and a croissant. Wow, smooth silky cocoa meets flaky and chew at the same time piece of pastry. Lovely. Friendly service given by a chatty Myanmar national. A nice spot to chill in the mornings. They also have good wifi. Do go!

“Food heaven :)”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Charming decor. A foreign food cafe that fits its surrounds very nicely rather than standing out like a sore thumb. The food is wonderful. We ate a lot and then got more to go as it was so good! Recommend...
-chocolate crepe
-salmon salad (best I have ever had)
-chocolate eclair
-vanilla slice
-chocolate brownie
-chocolate meringue
