My wife and I loved this place so much after our first visit that we came again two days later, all in a three day long trip! We enjoyed trying the unique meals involving raspberries, such as the waffles and pancakes. The homemade raspberry ice-cream was absolutely amazing as well! We sat near the lovely wood fire on what was an extremely cold day. Service was great, and the decor was refreshing. Would certainly recommend for anyone wanting a unique food experience!

Living in Hobart we drive up North with our two little daughters very often just to have a relaxing time and enjoy a delicious mea at this cafel. The staff are always very friendly and the service is excellent. We love coming here and we will continue to do so as long as we can. From the Wijay family.

Raspberry sausages! Sounds weird and interesting? Let me say that a side of raspberry sausages with one of the breakfast options at the raspberry cafe is worth it. In fact, the food at this cafe is yummy and well priced and if you're open to new flavours, you won't be disappointed. We were welcomed into the cafe by the warm fire place and the staff were quick to help us. (We felt one staff member was a little rude but the other wait staff were great.) Our 3 year old was given a colouring in page and pencils while we waited for the food and the staff assisted us with a high chair for our 1 year old. We devoured our food. Attached to the cafe is a small shop with raspberry products available to purchase. We enjoyed the free samples.

We just got off the spirit of tasmania and this place was recommended to us by friends who live in tassie as a must stopover. Staff were very friendly, service was quick and the food was yummy. Although coming from Melbourne, it was abit expensive. We found the whole of Tassie expensive, from eating out to accomodation to activities. We still do love this little place so we came back 6 days later on our way back to Davenport. Would recommend it as a stopover when driving through, especially their scones. Sitting by the fire on a cold day is perfect!!! My daughter was given a picture to colour in on our 1st stop and was so happy to see it was still there when we returned 6 days later!!!!!!!!Thank you staff for making our 2 stops very enjoyable!!!!

Stopped here on the weekend to have afternoon tea. We sat down and waited to order.... 20minutes later a staff member came to take our order! It wasn't busy all at as it was later in the afternoon. The food arrived and was great! Very nicely presented and tasted great!!! Will be coming back but hope too see improvement with the service. Coffee was very average - was very bitter. Don't bother with a coffee - have nice smoothies ect.
