Loved it. Great beach, lot's of trails, good diving. Very peacefull as well. A bit tricky to get there, paid 50 reais for a speedboat to take me there and come back again. But for sure worth it!!!

Really nice place away from the crowds. You need to take a 50r boat ride there but the area is quite nice and scenic.
I visited Campeche in November 2012. It was truly amazing. I found a little boat taking about 7 people from Campeche beach for 50 reals (return trip). The ride was only 10 minutes. We could stay on the island for 4 hours which was absolutely enough time as there is only one beach. Be aware that there might be a limit of people visiting te island. Also, you're not allowed to discover the island on your own, you need a guide to hike in the forests. There is only one restaurant so I recommend to bring your own food or drinks.
I loved this beach, is really beautiful and definitely worth the trip.

Ilha do campeche is the most beautiful place in Florianopolis. White dand beaches, and blue ocean... you feel in a paradise island. Just be aware of food facilities because there is only two restaurants at the beach so if you are in a budget or have special food requirments, please take your own. Definitly you cna not come to Florianopolis and not vist Campeche Island.
