Due to the size of our motorhome I contacted the park by phone to request a hard standing large enough to accomodate us, they confirmed and we paid.
On arrival only a week later I was informed that they were expecting us in a caravan, as a result there was no hard standing available, so as we weighed over 5000kg we were told we could park on the road as there was only one other arrival expected and they could go around the one way in the opposite direction.
We parked on the road which was fine, about an hour later the other arrival was behind us having not being told to go around the one way in the opposite direction resulting in them having to reverse on to the bog of a field.
The hardstandings that were available were POOR, nothing but heaps of mud and gravel in the middle of a field ( you have to drive over grass to get to them) they were covered in scaps of wood old bits of carpet, used bars of soap on one and generally unkempt which was a shock as the site had only been open a week.
The electric hook ups were dangerous as were old and sharp rusty metal parts where you plug in.
Due to the state of the site did not even attempt to use the toilet/shower blocks, fortunate to have a large enough outfit to use all on board.
The warden on site and the lady in reception were the unfriedliest people i have ever come across on a site.
Tip: stay away as you will be dissapointed in this site
