Had my reservations when we first arrived as accommodation more basic than we had been used to but soon disappeared when tea and coffee arrived. Sat outside the room overlooking the mountains in the sunshine was so peaceful. A very rural area where we could walk to our hearts content, watching the monkeys with their mischief. We sat outside a little shop selling everything and had a cup of coffee while watching a family cooking chapattis on an open fire, chasing away the monkeys, chatting and completely oblivious to our watching them. Birdwatching is brilliant but we did have a guide. Food was very good and at night someone came with logs and lit a huge fire in the grate and we went to bed and sat watching the flames and the room was so warm. Wished we had stayed longer and we would definitely go back.
