just returned from our second visit to The Old Vicarage, you always wonder if it will be as good as you remember, yes, it certainly was. Lovely welcome, beautiful decor, views, and last but not least the home produce breakfast, excellent all round. Have already booked my next visit.

A lovely few days at The Old Vicarage at Erwood on a working farm, the bleating of sheep, in a peaceful setting and a breakfast to dream of together with a comfortable and welcome stay. Will definitely go again and enjoy another delightful few days.

I enjoyed my stay with friends at this lovely restored home in the Wye Valley while taking in Hay Festival events over the bank holiday weekend. Linda is a thoughtful hostess who provides a full breakfast in the cosy dinning room - all from produce on her farm - and has decorated the rooms with French Country charm. The view of the hills is beautiful and the nearby country pub does delicious evening meals. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again as it is so peaceful but only a short drive to Hay. WiFi is available as well as coffee and tea making facilities in each room.

Room Tip: One double room has an ensuite and the others (a twin, a double and a single) share a bathroom. All...

We have repeatedly spent a weekend at The Old Vicarage in late March to enjoy the first of spring in this beautiful part of Wales. Linda was a wonderful and attentive host who gave us a warm welcome. The BnB is beautifully located in the Wye valley and a convenient starting point for a wide range of different walks. Our bedroom was very comfortable and decorated with great attention to detail. Sleeping in the traditional Welsh linen was in itself worth the visit. The full Welsh breakfast was wonderful, plenty and tasty with the locally sourced sausage deserving particular praise. We hope to be back soon.

We have just returned from The Old Vicarage in Erwood to our home in Bath. We thoroughly recommend this holiday b&b near Builth Wells.
The bedrooms are superb and the breakfast is home-made (bacon, sausages, eggs, bread, marmalade) from the farm.
Linda is the perfect hostess by being friendly and welcoming with a brilliant sense of humour to wit!!
This is our 'Welsh-get-away' - there is nowhere else.

We stayed at this lovely b and b whilst walking the Wye valley way. Linda was very welcoming and made us a nice cup of tea when we arrived hot and weary. A really delicious breakfast all home produce and very tasty. Linda was very attentive and even gave us a lift the next morning up the really steep hill, much appreciated. I would recomend this b and b to anyone who is after a comfortable night's stay in this beautiful part of Wales.
