What a wonderful place i was worried about preparing xmas dinner in a cottage but no need to have , the table was big and beautiful and there were so many pots and pans, glasses plates platters all you need and more. It is warm and cosy and has a fantastic view. Hot tub was a great hit , so warm and inviting. Pity pub was closed on xmas eve but we just jumped in hot tub and had some wine in plastic glasses provided . Also was secorated beautifully for xmas. Can not recommend highly enough I dont think i wanted anything that wasnt there and when cooking for 9 on xmas day thats says it all for a holiday cottage. Well done to the owners they have got it perfect and ps beds are comfiest ive ever slept in ... BRILLIANT
Great location on the edge of a rural village - lovely and quiet. The barn exceeded expectations - finished to a high spec and with everything you could want for a short (or long) stay including washing machine and dishwasher. We spent 3 nights in the barn with 3 children under the age of 4 years and it was perfect with an enclosed lawn with room for them to safely play whilst the adults indulged in the hot-tub! Sarah was lovely and communication before and after was good. We'd happily return.
We all had a wonderful long weekend staying at the Sunrise Barn. The house and the facilities available are excellent and to an extremely high standard. All bedrooms are lovely, the kitchen has everything you need and the addition of the large hot tub in the garden was very well utilised! The village itself is very quiet, but there's some lovely walks in the area and you don't have to travel too far to find decent places to eat. Would highly recommend booking a stay here.
Just come back from a long weekend at the converted milking barn in Romaldkirk. The barn was well equipped and included ensuites in every room. The owners were really helpful when the bbq ran out of gas. The best bit was the really lovely garden and of course the hot tub, all in all a fantastic stay!
