We had a 2 night stay and from start to finish we were made most welcome. Keith and Bridget are both very warm, welcoming people. Absolutely perfect for the job, great sense of humour, nothing too much trouble. Loved the enormous bed, lovely cosy room, very spacious. Very generous tea making facilities with plenty of choice regarding teabags and delicious biscuits! Beautiful breakfast, cooked to perfection with all of their home produce. More than helpful with recommendations of places to go and the best transport to use( if needed as we did when visiting River Cottage). Love the area and cannot wait to find an excuse to visit again. Would not have to think twice about staying at Spillers Farm again, loved the whole experience! It was great to have the pets wandering about as we love animals. Thank you both for such a nice time.

Room Tip: King size rooms are perfect.

We stayed at Spillers Farm for a night while visiting River Cottage and the Jurassic Coast. Bridget and Keith were most hospitable and we couldn't fault the accommodation or the warmth of their welcome. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable with an enormous bed and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The views out over the farmland were fantastic. Their breakfasts are great with most things home made/reared on the farm - couldn't ask for better. You even get a dog or cat to keep you company while you stay if you want!

Thank you for a lovely short break - we hope to stay longer next time.

Room Tip: The family room had a single bed in the room as well as the huge double - and lovely views from the...

We stayed at Spillers Farm B&B for a three nights & we couldn't praise Keith & Bridget highly enough. From start to finish they made our stay most very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.
Tea, Coffee & biscuits were provided in the room which was a pleaseant suprise after our journey & long day. The room also had a fridge with complimentary water, which is always a very nice touch.
The room was very spacious & the bed more than comfortable.
The hot & cold breakfast was lovely. The sausages were to die for.
Thank you both again for a very nice stay.
Highly recommended.

We have been to Spillers Farm twice now and will definitely make it a regular date on our calendar. From the minute we arrived the welcome was warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the accommodation was fabulous. We rented the holiday cottage and it was spotlessly clean and very well-appointed. Bridget and Keith are lovely and we enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast and at various opportunities. The home made jam is also amazing! I'm not a big fan of holiday cottages in general and prefer hotels so the fact that I loved this place so much and will revisit again speaks volumes. The location is great for exploring and wonderful beaches. Bridget and Keith make this a truly lovely and welcoming place for guests. Congrats guys!

Stayed at Spillers Farm for a night whilst visiting River Cottage canteen in Axminster. Keith and Bridget were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming, as was Merryck the dog!. Our room was clean and very comfortable and the breakfast - as most reviewers have stated, was excellent! Spilled Farm is ideally located for Axminster, Seaton and Lyme Regis. Look forward to staying again in the summer time!

Thanks to Steve and Hayley for this lovely review. We're delighted they enjoyed their stay and plan to come back when they return to visit River Cottage HQ - which, as they state, is just a short distance from Spillers Farm.

We stayed at Spillers Farm B&B as we were visiting River Cottage HQ for our anniversary. If you are looking for a place to stay close to River Cottage if you plan to go, I cannot recommend Spillers Farm B&B enough. From the moment we arrived Bridget and Keith were SO welcoming and put us at ease straight away. The room we slept in was really cosy and warm (considering the blowing gale and wet weather outside!), the bed was extremely comfortable and the little things like the wine glasses and bottle opener showed us that they really care about their guests. A fully functioning farm, Bridget and Keith rear and cure their own bacon and sausages, as well as cultivating their own vegetables, eggs and homemade jams. Even though we were stuffed from the night before eating at RC HQ, breakfast was too good to pass up. Bridget and Keith offered us duck eggs and cook everything without oil, instead opting for the searing heat of the AGA, nothing was too much trouble. The taxi service that Bridget and Keith recommend are very reliable and reasonably priced, SF is the loveliest setting a stone’s throw (10 min taxi ride) from RC HQ. We didn't get the chance to see the farm at its best as we were only staying for a night, but have both agreed that we will definitely return either together or with family. Thank you both so much for a really lovely stay, you made our anniversary even more memorable.

Thanks to Chris and Levannah for this lovely and comprehensive review, which has captured everything we try to achieve at Spillers Farm. As Levannah states we are very close to River Cottage HQ and as we are a working smallholding producing all our own produce, a stay at Spillers provides a very complementary stay when visiting River Cottage.

We arrived from Oxford on a wet and windy afternoon and were made welcome straight away by Bridgett and Keith. We were shown to our room and able to settle in straight away.

The breakfast was lovely as was the room and we really enjoyed talking to our hosts about travel and life in general.

This trip for us was to organise engagement and Wedding rings and the experience of staying at Spillers Farm with Bridgett & Keith made the weekend feel really special. Thank you both so much for looking after us.
