We stayed here whilst visiting our daughter who was wwoofing at Trill Farm. We couldn't have chosen a better place. A lovely location, Bridget and Keith were very good hosts, the breakfast was wonderful, lovely sausages and bacon home made from their own pigs, Keith's excellent jams, lovely room and comfortable bed.
Nice touches such as earplugs in the room (it is on a main road), fresh milk in a mini fridge for tea or coffee in the morning. all in all one of the best b&bs we have stayed at.
Highly recommended.
(And we mustn't forget Merryck the dog and Sila the cat.)

Such friendly hosts, really comfy rooms - home from home is a good description. Breakfast was incredibly good. I couldnt resist taking some of the homemade sausages and home cured bacon home as it was so delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Keith and Bridget, including a lift to get my car from River Cottage the morning after the wedding reception.

We booked this B&B for a visit to River Cottage on Saturday night. Bridget and Keith gave us such a very warm welcome that we immediately felt like we had known them for ages! We had the King Size room which was very spacious and well equipped. Keith suggested that we might like to take a drink and sit by the lake in the sunshine which we did and it was very pleasant. We were greeted by the orphan lambs on our walk to the lake and then watched the swans and ducks swimming about. Breakfast was brilliant, 'home grown' bacon, sausages and eggs all cooked in the Aga followed by lovely, homemade jams. We will definitely go back, no reason not to! Sarah & Tony.

Bridget & Keith always offer a warm welcome and make my stay comfortable, this was stay 4 or 5 as I have a nearby friend. I have stayed with a group that has taken every room including the cottage and on my own and each stay has been just as lovely. The full English breakfast is great, the home-made jam is a must try, I always have a jar at home now! Merryck (the dog) will take you for a walk ... Strange but true ... He loves the lake and is gorgeous. If you book Spillers Farm, enjoy your stay.

Have recently stayed with the lovely Keith and Bridget, were lucky enough to have booked and stayed 5 nights, as we were doing the River Cottage 4 day cookery course. We had a lovely time, it's just like everyone else has said they are so welcoming down to earth lovely people. Keith you have truly found your vocation in life. We felt like we were family, the gates were open for us every afternoon, a trip round there small holding was just sweet and all the animals, so cute. Breakfast was great. I was going down to breakfast in my slippers in the end I felt so at home. Our room was lovely so relaxing and immaculate
See you both again me lovelies Jue and jo

We were fortunate enough to book this B&B for our recent visit to an evening at River Cottage.
It was like going to stay with friends.
A warm welcome, spacious well appointed room, freshly cooked breakfast, lots of chat - nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the owners Keith and Bridget, and their dog, Merryck. Merryck was very friendly and showed us around the farm and the lake (make sure you find a supply of stones to throw in for him or else he barks :) . The room (kingsize above the tea room) was large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nice to have fresh milk for the tea / coffee in the room, of which there was a lot of choice.
Lovely breakfast especially the sausages.
We bought some of their home made jam, a sheep skin rug and some duck eggs all of which were lovely.
It was a wonderful stay at a fantastic B&B and we couldn't have come away feeling more relaxed and refreshed. A gem of a B&B, which serves as a benchmark rest!
